I would think it has more to do with demographics and political policies concerning law enforcement. I'm in SF so I know first hand that the latter has a big effect.

SF needs a new DA, they’re the ones that dictate most things related to crime and how it’s prosecuted, if at all…

Or San Fran could just rename itself Nottingham. By extension, rectifying the dilemma the city currently finds itself in becomes quite simple...

Hire a Sheriff

If you currently have too many women chasing you, calling you, harassing you, knocking on your door at 2 o'clock in the morning... then I have the simple solution for you.

Just read my free ebook 22 Rules for Massive Success With Women and do the opposite of what I recommend.

This will quickly drive all women away from you.

And you will be able to relax and to live your life in peace and quiet.

Have you lived in SF proper? Or is your opinion not first hand?

Not sure that qualifies as a robust experience to be able to truly opine on a place. The way one experiences a spot you visit is very different than than the experience of those who live there.

Ask @Hamurabimbi and the others who actually live here.

The city of SF is much different than Palo Alto, Oakland, San Jose, Marin, Fremont, etc all are part of the SF Bay Area and microcosms of their own.

Those who don’t or haven’t lived here say SF and they mean SF Bay Area. ~800k in SF, ~4.6 million in the SF Bay Area.

I’ve found most of the opinions about SF here are from Fox News.

I have fam in the Bay Area. It's 7 million and the microcosms are all full of crappy dating attitudes until you get out to the central valley.

But back to the OP, females tend to be progressive (i.e., permissive) more so than males, so it's a "the sky is blue" kind of thing.

Leave it to Corn to take something obvious and propose it is absurd.

But then again, that's a good idea for a TV Pilot - Leave It To Corn.

@CornbreadFed, what do you think?

I didn't anticipate my original reply ("San Fran could just rename itself Nottingham. By extension, rectifying the dilemma the city currently finds itself in becomes quite simple... Hire a Sheriff"*)being taken so literally. For whatever it's worth, a recently published screed on this subject has been making the rounds for awhile

It depends what you consider the Bay Area. Anything east of the east bay mountain range is not in the Bay Area, although it calls itself that to try to get Bay Area real estate valuation.

Anyway, the idea was to show that the greater metro is not the Haight, as most seem to think it is.

It’s a tough dating market, but you adjust.

And San Fran doesn't by any means hold a monopoly on horrific events. Just today, the following occurred in Anaheim

That article neglects to mention that Ms. Lear, was at the time, fleeing JJ DeAngelo*, decked out in Mickey Mouse get-up. After being granted compassionate release, dude was hired as a Disneyland Theme Character, thanks to the park's participation in Cali's prisoner re-entry program. Clearly though, some habits aren't nearly as easy to kick as tobacco and opiates are

You sir, have a very bizarre sense of humor. Most of your references to celebs and whatnot go right over my head as I have absolutely no idea who these people are, and I’m not particularly interested in finding out. Morose might be a suitable adjective.

Maybe I’m the one thats bizarre…

In hindsight, that post could've been more proficiently written:

"Morbid", "Grim", and "Macabre" might actually be more apt. So much so, that I'm only sharing my riff on Boy Meets World alum Trina McGee getting knocked up at age 54 here https://thefreespeechforum.com/thre...-on-boy-meets-world-is-54-and-pregnant.24777/

While hoping and praying that TFSG lives up to it's mandate

Bringing this back around, kinda sorta, to the subject of this thread. There's evidence indicating thay women(Especially White women, hailing from upper income homes)are more likely to identify as Progressive, and be deeply immersed in social justice culture. Folks in this demographic are predisposed towards what Haslam et al have termed Concept Creep

Stands to reason then:

There most likely are at least a few women in America occupying the bench right now, who harbor a highly elastic definition of words such as "harm" and "trauma", which in turn influence the rulings they're handing down. When a judge believes that sentencing a dope fiend to the maximum, for a grand larceny which he or she is guilty of, would be "harming" or "traumatizing" them... Well, justice clearly isn't a priority, when ever she's commanding a court room

Seriously @BaronOfHair - reading and trying to put together the endless pop culture references and the idea of watching all the videos and reading all the URL's you post in a single post makes my resting heart rate go from 58 to 94 sometimes.

p.s. It's meant as constructive criticism, if people ;TLDR your posts (as I often do) you're not achieving what I presume to be your goal: to engage in discussion.

Most of my references aren't pop cultural, for whatever consolation that provides. Everyone has a choice to either destroy their remaining grey matter playing The X Box, or to enrich their minds, by watching the educational vids and links I've provided. No judgment either way :p:cool:

High crime correlates with the levels of identity politics that stupid/spineless local politicians embrace
