I live in a small town, and most of my buddies are engaged or married. So wingmen are an issue, though I have some potentials.

As I am new to all of this, I really feel that I could grow quickly by taking a weekend workshop, but I want to make sure that I submerse myself in one that fits my personality.

Juggler's really seems to hit the mark. However, I never dreamed that it would be as expensive as it is. I want to make sure it's worth it. I read SexPDX's rundown of his work with Juggler, and he spoke really highly of it.

I am looking at attending the conference in Ann Arbor from January 20 through the 22nd.

Any advice on the wisdom of such a decision. That's $1,299, and I'm not made of money.

What do you think?

I'm leaning toward "yes."

I've already read through it, and it's quite an endorsement, wouldn't you say?

Thanks for the link, though. I didn't provide it myself, as I was too lazy to include it in my original post.

Would you go to it if you were clueless and wingmanless, So Many Ways?

i was considering it myself a while back, before he went commercial. but not for chicks, for business. picking up chicks and picking up clients is basically the same dynamic.

if i were you, i'd hit it on your own for a while, then go to the seminar. it would be more valuable if you've had some good field experience. if it's your intent to do his seminar, make sure you keep track and pay close attention to your field experiences. that way you can compare/contrast, etc.

esoteric, the workshops imo are good for those guys who have a bit of game already, they want to take their game to another level by watching a guru in action and seek their guidance. But for someone who is completely new to the game. I would suggest you start learning what's on this forum first, go thru a bootcamp here.

I'm in the process of getting more field experience myself. I think it's really crucial to get a good wing that has the same goal as yourself, one way or the other. I'm fortunate to have a good wing myself.

Personally I can't say whether you should or shoudln't. Personally I wouldn't do it at my stage of my development.

I wouldn't

I would get some crash course wingman, thats why the term is used... The are with you to rescue ya when you crash

If you are clueless when you get into his workshop what makes you think your suddenly not going to be clueless anymore

I say get some experience, and hope that he can raise your game to new levels, instead of him being the first step and than coming back here and saying WOW!!!
I agree with the above statement.

I definitely intend on getting some experience in between now and mid-January (especially after your advice). One of my best friends has solid game, though he'll be the first to admit that he's streaky, and that he can't always discern why he's successful when he's successful.

But the fact remains: he's light years ahead of me.

I spoke with him last night, and I'm planning on heading down to see him every weekend to go out and see what we can do.

That being said, if all goes according to plan, I believe I'll be attending in January with enough experiences to be able to put what they teach into proper context.

Thanks for the advice.
