Dukester
Master Don Juan
Ok, from all my past experiences, and all my new ones, I've learned a lot of things. Basically, it all boils down to one thing: Confidence.
Confidence is the key to doing anything with anybody. It's the only way you make new friends, talk to a prof. about a bad grade, go to the help room for help, talk to girls, go for a # close.
Face it, without confidence, you dont go anywhere in life. Confidence helps you succeed in life. If you succeed, generally you are happy, and if you are happy, you have confidence.
It is all just one big loop, but it starts with confidence. You have to conquer you inner demon(s) before you can go out and do anything. If talking to your boss is hard, it's a confidence issue.
But how do you get confidence Dukester??
Well, you need to look within yourself. What makes you nervous, what is scary to you?
After you've identified things such as that, you need to work on how to solve them. Start small, and work your way up. If you have a problem talking to girls randomly and doing cold approaches....
One way to work on that is to talk to your friends, and have conversations. If you have "girl" friends, just talk to them more and more, and learn how girls reaact, etc... If you feel comfortable you have confidence.
Once you are in your own level of comfort, try taking bigger steps. Talk to that random girl, sit next to that HB8 in math class. If you dont think you are ready for something, dont do it. But you always gotta try if you think you can.
Once you practice more and more, it will become natural for you. You become happier, because you know more and more girls are looking your way, and you actually have the confidence to talk to them.
When you get # closes, or to the point where HB9's come up to you and ask to sit/talk w/ you, then you become happier. When you're happy, you're confident. Things go smoothly, and it is all natural.
If you feel like it is process where you have to go through each thing step by step, you are thinking too much. When things come natural, you tend to think less about the process.
With more and more success, and more and more happiness, you have more and more confidence. Thus confidence made you happy, and made you successful, which gave you more confidence.
I know I've been repetitive, but I thought this was good info, and I wanted to share it to all you guys who have problems like this.
