Why is it that when I get lack of sleep, that same day my confidence is real up, i mean i can flirt with any girl I want but I want I get enough or oversleep my confidence level is way down and I feel quite nervous at times. Can someone explain this.

its pretty simple..when you're tired you don't give a f*ck & when you're awake you're too fidgity & too aware of your surrondings to focus on the task at hand...you need to find your happy medium...maybe ideally you need 5-6 hrs. to be at your peak...everyone is different

Usually 7-8 hours is what people recommend. Either way, this is a...

Health and Fitness issue.

You're telling someone to get negligable sleep? no way.

You're probably this way cause your body has too much energy and/or is on a low from the things you're eating.

Eat a bit healthier and excersize a bit more often, and you *should* feel better. by getting less sleep, you're hiding a problem with a problem... if you're not confident at the moment, work on that, dont look for a quick fix. cause it wont fix anything.

7-8 hours is recommended..everyone is different of course.

there was a time that i couldnt get a straight 8 hours sleep..i'd wake up 3 hours into my sleep...falll asleep then wake up again 2 hours later...etc.

some tips i've read from men's health magazine to get a good night's sleep are:

*go to bed at the same time, and wake up at the same time as much as possible...even on the weekends.

*no caffeine, sodas, coffee, ect before bedtime.

*don't nap...naps keep you from getting the long REM sleep at night.

*your bedroom should be a place where you sleep and have sex ONLY..this means no tv, no computer, no reading...these things all cause stimulation of your mind.

*a soft jasmine sent kept around the bedroom and used only in the bedroom can help you associate the smell of the jasmine to sleep and may help you fall asleep faster.

If you don't get enough sleep, you are more disoriented and tend not to notice many things. You are also, by far, less self-concious since the mind is basically in a state of stupor.

eh - i wonder if they're even related.

and im not knocking the DJ bible, but i dont know if that's where i'd go for serious health information.

theres so much uncertainty anyway. like most things i think you're just going to have to find what works for you the hard way
