I want to ask a chick out to The Killers concert in Atlantic City. The concert is this Thursday and I will have extremely little time to talk. When I first see her she is going to class and the next time I see her on Tuesday is when I have to go to class. We briefly talked before. She did fidget a lot and started the conversation with a cheap comment about professors being late--while I was talking to someone else who was fairly far from her--but I was unable to carry through with the this for a decent amount of time because I was there to speak to the class and the professor put us on the clock as soon as he got in the room (about 30 seconds after we began to speak).
Must I establish some sort of rapport in order to be successful? Unfortunately, due to time constraints, I will have to give it a shot without rapport but I am curious as to how I can minimize the problems caused by a lack of rapport. Will she be willing to get in a car for 3 hours with a guy she knows virtually nothing about? I want to have a date for this concert and will not wait a week or weeks in order to establish rapport with her. It is tomorrow or never for her.
