what kind of concealer is good for a recedding hairline-norwood 3. both my temples are receeding. i do have hair on my crown though
i tried dermmatch but nothing at all, it doesn;t conceal my hairline and i still see baldness. dermmatch is just a paste and paint on ur scalp

i like to grow my bangs too(below my eyebrows)-the dragonball z or anime character look, but it looks dumb when u have the temples which are all bald. i want those to be covered

so what concealer is good to cover my temples and receeding hairline

There really isn't an cosmetic made that can replicate hairlines. Hair replacement would be an option, but you're probably not going to be able to grow long thick bangs with it, that would just fill in the temples and receding hairline some. The anime look you'd like just may not be a realistic option for you, but a decently styled haircut would make an improvement.

Visit a dermatologist. I have the same problem, and she gave me some spray that is supposed to make new hair grow on the skin it's applied to. So, you'd better be careful not to, say wash your face in it. I'm not trolling, this is what the doctor said.

The trouble is, new hair may not be exactly the same as the old one, it could be lighter or darker, different in other ways maybe. It'll make your existing hair thicker, but once you stop with its use, all the "magic" hair will fall off. I lost the name of the thing, but I thing it's Pilovit, or Minoxidyl 2%. At least in my country, so if you're interested don't buy anything without consulting the doc first.

You could also try Rogaine, my friend had a lot of success with it. Anyway, I think you could make your hair look very cool even with the receding line, I did it to mine. I'm just hoping the hair recession won't continue. Some girls think it's manly to have a 'high forehead' :).

lol rogaine is mainly minoxidyl .....Try Toppik mentioned it before...it doesn't help much for hair lines but gives u an added inch or so...as it also strengthens the already the hair u have on the hair line.

I would offer an alternative but out of the half dozen or so threads I posted on about baldness nobody seemed interested. Oh well....

It's not our fault we didn't start losing hair earlier :). Now I'd be EXTREMELY interested.

Buzz your head to the length of your facial stubble and leave it like that (both face and head). Then change your glasses or get contacts. Bam, ten times better.

I agree with the above. If your dome is pale go tanning for a few minutes every 3 days for a week and you should be golden (pun intended).

My only other suggestion would be to grow your hair out on the top and part it down the middle so it covers the areas you are concerned with.

Good luck.

I'm losing my hair and I just gave myself a buzz cut. If you are going to do anything about your hair either promise yourself not to worry about it or go all out and get professional hair work done. Like grafts and stuff. Probably looking at several thousand dollars. But women can smell hair insecurity on a man. It's better just to not conceal.

I would say military cut. Your hair loss is not very severe. I wouldn't worry about. But get your hair closely cut. Right now, it looks pretty messy.

Joe,

A concealer is a lie - you can cut your hair short and still look awesome.

I have the same type of hairline - the slow burn on either side (Thigh burns!).

Anyways, you MUST cut your hair really short if this is happening.
(Or shave your head if you have the head for it.)

Ask your barber for a number three clipper (or two) around the back and sides - have them take down the top as short as they can with the Scissors and fingers)... Put the front up like a college kid or dirty spike it. This will allow you to keep your sideburns.
