The hours! Lots of hours!

I'm fifty pages through writing (well, collating) a massive ebook that has its basis around the boot camp.

It goes like this:

* Each week is seperated by chapters
* Each chapter has commentary from me and MotU
* Each article referenced by a lesson is included as well
* The exercises, music picks, and further resources are also in there.

EVERY SINGLE WORD is checked, EVERY SENTENCE grammatically corrected and EVERYTHING is formatted in a nice way. These are my capabilities after going 2/3 of the way through a computer science degree in one of the best places in the UK to do Computer Science. Hah. I love bragging.

Do I have too much time on my hands? I'll be blunt, yes. At the moment, I have no job or anything so I'm investing my time in YOU, especially the newbies. This book, I hope, will be the best resource for anyone coming to the site and shouting "help! help! a girl looked at me!".

Its a bit of a mini bible, containing 10% of all of the articles in the DJB I guess, but they would be the best 10%. Over time, I hope to have weeks 7 and 8 of the boot camp at my disposal.

It will be finished in two weeks or less.

Uk Boot Camp

Hey nick, your a uk guy right, surely you see the need for a uk boot camp? how about it? also, how about a uk section of the bible. i am not alone in thinking that this place needs a section for the uk because things are so much different here and djing has a slightly different set of rules.

Heya, that's cool Nick, far play to ya.

I agree w/ the UK comment posted, and it is relevant to Ireland too.

I can't create the UK camp because it would take me too long.

I will have enough time to finish this book and revamp the DJB as I promised, but no more time after that. The rest of my life will be exciting and productive (look at this thread for more info on that http://www.sosuave.com/vBulletin/showthread.php?s=&threadid=34359 )

If there is one British individual willing to create an entirely new English/Welsh/Scottish/Irish bootcamp all-in-one for a similar time period, taking or making new british DJ posts, then get back to me. I will explain the process. I will then leave it up to you.

But in general you should remember to never ask unless you are willing to commit yourself!

Nick
