This is crazy....how hard is it to defend their offense. I know their good but I don't think any teams this season have been mixing it up or trying to confuse peyton. (except for the ravens which had good success just no offense) Have your defense linemen stand up and walk around, do SOMETHING. Noticed also today that the Broncos DB's are playing a lil off of their men. Bump them or somethin to throw them off their routes.

Anywho what do you guys think that teams could do to slow down this offense?

The problem the Broncos had is the problem almost every DB in the country had this season: the new receiver contact rules being heavily enforced, making it impossible to jockey with or jostle the receivers off their routes, and giving a QB like Peyton with a monster arm a HUGE advantage. I don't know how anyone's gonna stop them, but I'm thinking NE will for some reason.

On a related note, the Green Bay Packers can lick my nuts.

They already did. I think most of the people in minnesota were suprised we won.

Now, to do something about those eagles..

At this point you probably have a woman (or multiple women) chasing you around, calling you all the time, wanting to be with you. So let's talk about how to KEEP a woman interested in you once you have her. This is BIG! There is nothing worse than getting dumped by a woman that you really, really like.

I know, that was a like a victory grunt or something. If the Lions can't make it, then I will live vicariously through my #2 team, the Colts. And since I hate Green Bay with the heat of a thousand suns... Thank you Minnesota.

I only curse Minnesota when it's football or hockey. You can have the basketball. And since there's no hockey right now...

I never want the Vikings to beat the Lions... but I'll always root for whoever is playing against Green Bay, Ahman Green, and Brett Favre.

Zone blitzing. It's effective because the QB won't know where the blitz is coming from and who's dropping back into coverage. Other than that, don't blitz at all. He's 68.2% with a 136.7 QB rating when defenses blitz.

Also, zones can be helpful in keeping the offense in front of them. Manning averaged 13.6 yards per completion during the season; teams need to seal off the long ball.

Jam the receivers to screw up the timing of routes. The five yard rule doesn't give that much of an opportunity, but the CBs need to jam them for a little bit to allow the D-Line and any people on the blitz to get to Manning sooner.

Interesting statistics.... Manning is 58.5% with 3 TDs, 3 INTs, and 1 sack when there are less then four D-linemen. He's also 59.8% when he's pinned between the 20 yard line and his own endzone, and 51.4% when pinned between his 10. In addition, Manning is 43.8% when attempting passes longer than 20 yards. Furthermore, he of all downs, he's passes his worst on third. Hmmm....he IS human....

Boy, that was fun.... now let's break down Edgerrin James....

He averages 3.8 yards per carry when running to the right side, and 3.0 yards per carry when running between the 20 yard line and his own endzone. He doesn't run very well with three TE's, averaging -0.1 yards per carry.

He runs worse when the Colts are trailing....by almost a yard per carry difference.

James also averages 2.9 yards per carry in the redzone.

He averages 0.9 yards per carry when running from the Shotgun formation.

He averages 3.5 yards per carry when there is a man-in-motion.

He runs a half-yard worse per carry when defenses blitz.
