Airforce @ Wyoming in Laramie, Wyoming

I know Option #1 is more electrifying and bigger, but tickets more expensive and so are hotels and the weather might be humid (Mid-September)

Option #2, not as exciting an atmosphere, but cheaper and better climate

National Champs Georgia Dawgs are playing South Carolina that weekend as well, but I heard Columbia, SC is a DUMP

Any input?

My Goal is to see a Conference Matchup in EVERY Conference. So far I have the ACC and Big 10 complete

Both games in 2022 are scheduled on September 17.

The better quality football game will be Mississippi State-LSU. You're right that Wyoming will have the better weather in mid-September. Wyoming women might be a little bit more chill too. SEC conference undergrads tend to be more attractive but also more pretentious. Georgia, Alabama, Auburn, and Florida are worse about that than LSU.

Yes, I have vacation end of that week and into the weekend.

Baton Rouge looks pretty cool too, they have the USS Kidd there (WW2 destroyer) Antebellum Houses and some other cool stuff.

I went to Auburn at Clemson few years back (2017) at Clemson. I paid a hefty price to sit in the nose bleeds since Clemson was National Champs the year before. I got a bit too sloshed before the game started too. The Game was at 7:00 pm and I got dropped off at Campus around Noon...lol

There is also the Red River Showdown on October 8th (I am off that prior week) in Dallas, Texas.

I always wanted to see Texas as well so I can kill two birds in one stone. However, the cheapest tickets are $300+

There isn't a lot of a reason to take a recreational vacation to Dallas. I would imagine that a lot of the hotel inventory there is dependent upon business travel and events. Since the pandemic has reduced business travel, it has likely taken a toll on hotel business in Dallas.

Just checked and tix are now $500......F that! Even if I was a fan of either team ( which I'm not) I wouldn't pay that.

LSU still has Tix vs. MSU at a reasonable 75.00 in the nosebleeds.

$75 in Baton Rouge vs. $500 in Dallas. I also would guess hotels are cheaper in Baton Rouge than Dallas.

Oklahoma-Texas is played on a neutral site in Dallas, which is about equidistant from both schools. It's not an on campus stadium, so that's a different experience.

Anybody ever been to a game at Ole Miss?

I was thinking about trying it out. However, I think they are more known for their tail gating atmosphere than the actual stadium atmosphere. I would be by myself, so that rules out tail-gating.
