I have been friendly to chicks at college in general, especially those that live on my floor in my dorm. The vast majority will not even say "hi" to me if I don't do so initially. I have had some decent conversations with them, of course, with me initiating. Are college chicks simply unfriendly or is this a problem endemic associated with the New York area? They weren't nearly this cold in South Jersey.

It's possible that it's the chicks your dealing with but I think you have a chance to use some C&F. Just be blatent. Something along the lines of "it wouldn't kill you to say hi." or "so do we just not say Hi on this floor or what, whats the deal?" Don't be afraid to just point out the fact that they are ignoring you b/c truthfully they shouldn't. Besides, I beleive they feel akward as well and they shouldn't so help them with that :).

Those are good suggestions. Thanks.

I didn't start being friendly with people on my floor until two months ago. Do they think I am doing this to get into their pants? The guys on the floor are far friendlier.

Also, some of them always look at me when they see me but they don't say anything. Could they be attracted to me and hence nervous or are they looking to see if I am checking them out because they assume I am attracted to them?

I would try to make friends with more of the guys there. I notice it's more fun hanging out with chicks in the dorm when there's a few guys and girls together.

Also, where in South Jersey you from?

Just because a woman listens to you and acts interested in what you say doesn't mean she really is. She might just be acting polite, while silently wishing that the date would hurry up and end, or that you would go away... and never come back.

i think it's the college chicks = unfriendly equation.

Unless you do college chicks + alcohol. That = friendly.

People in college are ****ing weird, son.

I don't understand half the people here. It's like they want you to kiss there ass just cuz they got money or something.

One day they wanna follow you around like a puppy the next they act like they don't know you.

I just ignore these faggots. The women are ok,but most of these wb's are ****ing weirdo's I don't even look at them.

P.S. Yeah women from NY are cold.

I got a similar problem. Women seem more interested in me when I am cold and unfriendly but when I start being nice to them they turn all weird like they think they are better then me. Some women are really cool and being friends is not problem but the more attractive ones act stupid.

I have to chose between being a cold person and being lonely and being friendly and not getting respected. I chose the former.

I have been trying to expand my social circle in general and hopefully making more male friends will lead to more female contacts.

I am from Vineland but going to college in the NYC area. Where are you from?

Yeah women from NY are cold.
Why is that?

What do you guys think about their perception of me? Would they generally think I am suddenly friendly or merely acting friendly for sex?
