College and "real world" game are not the same

Its been a while since I have been here on this forum. I would like to think that I have grown and learned a lot. Here is my current predicament

-Became a commissioned officer in the military
-Be stationed at a base down south while diverse, still not as progressive and open minded as they are in the NYC/NJ area, and me being a part of a minority group presented some difficulties
-The hot females are already claimed and/or brought here by military people as spouses or GFs, the local spots are not exactly "target rich" (very few above 7/10 in an already small town)
-A good hunting ground is a 45 minute drive to a University, which I can manage every weekend or so (if and only if my friend who is an alumni will go, otherwise we have no reason to be there) however, with the school year ending, that place is now dead
-On top of that, with the current incidents of alcohol-related shenanigans (and being an officer one must be a role model) a lot of my peers are now turning away from alcohol and partying

With that said I am now this "overdressed" Asian guy in the southern United States, without a lot of options (sometimes I see the same people at the little bars and "clubs" that they have here from last week).

What must one do? Now I actually have to answer personal questions and actually have to do things during the day and *gulp* meet people while the sun is still up and alcohol is not involved.

All the while being honest during the entire interaction. How do people do this?

p.s. should this be at the mature man section? I am only really 23...

Gone are the days where I could walk up to a random hottie at my university and play a guessing game with her "whats my major" game is an excellent convo topic. Not only will you learn about what she thinks of you and get to know each other, its an excellent opportunity to drop negs.

Gone are the days where I could take her to a house party or a bar and dance with her, and if she is not feeling it or I am not feeling it, there are a lot more where that came from...

Gone are the days where we could take shots until we are both drunk enough to make decisions that we later might regret...

Some members on this forum (Dhoul comes to mind) are in the same situation as you, minorities stuck in the south chasing White women. What I can tell you about the South is that outside of the big cities, the traditional PUA cold approach stuff does not work here. Most of the times you will get blown out and even hurt your reputation here. If you are in a college town then the hottest girls are either going for football players or frat stars, just the way things work here. I don't really know what advice to give if you are a minority down south chasing southern belles, don't know of any that have had success.

The advice that could work for you is to go for women who are bound to be open minded: White women in more open minded niches (international students for example) and women from minority groups.

I am not even focused with white women, I like Latinas mainly. However, there are so few of them. My friend from Kentucky swears up and down that southern belles will like me only because southern girls like to experiment.

Also, whats with the fashion down here? Button up oxfords or chambray = dressed up... wtf?

If you aren't too far away from Florida then it is worth a trip. Again a lot of men love Latinas but you have to work with what you have. The Hispanic population is bound to increase everywhere so you might have some chances along the way.

Not too sure what your friend meant by southern girls liking to experiment, some might but a vast majority strongly prefer White males for casual sex and LTRs, just how they are brought up.

Man its the same crap no matter where you go or what you do. You just have to adjust your game to area your in. If im at country thunder i dont use hip pop reference. and know one said you have to be honest lol. You can still bs your way in there panties lol. and you can drink during the day happy hours or self medication lol. the game doesnt change man its the same thing the only difference is its the players.

There will be an adjustment period. When I got around your age I realized I just didn't have enough time in the week to get super drunk at parties. Then it hit me that I couldn't rely on things to "just happen." So I had to significantly change how I met girls and how I advanced things along. It was a little weird at first but eventually things got pretty good.

I even used it as a conversation piece with girls my age. Stuff like "yeah I guess we're 'responsible adults' now huh?" It helps to remember that you aren't the only one at that awkward stage, the girls are there too and they recognize it.

Yes and no. I mean I am a little biased because I was in a frat. But even when I pledged BEFORE the red pill I still couldnt get any girls. And your brothers just laugh at you. Some girls actually avoid the frat guys because of the stigma of sorts. Sorority girls are like poon on tap, tho.

Not really, in the US Army regs its "rape" if alcohol touches her lips at any point. And believe me these women knows the system better than actual people in the military.

That and with the physical nature of my job I cannot get drunk everyday anymore, hell sometimes, I cant even drink during the weekends. That and being an Officer kind of gets in the way. The whole military bearing/discipline and stuff.

You just have to adjust your game to area your in.

Does that thing really work? I think our main currency to girls our age would be that we are "youthful" and "fun" I cant see myself saying that. Too true, man... too true... And I used to cant wait to grow up

Depends on the school. My school is heavily greek. I agree, just being in fraternity doesn't net you girls, but it puts you in the door. I have brothers that talk about how the star football players keep texting and flirting with their girls and they are like awwwe.
