Cold approached Hostess for number.

This last Friday I approached a girl that works a hostess position not the more traditional waitress at a Twin Peaks. I had talked with the girl a bit before the previous week when I lost my wallet and she had it at the front. She playfully flirted "I need your I.D. for you too get it back" which obviously my ID was in the wallet.

I caught her checking me out several times that night but she was really busy and it was hard to strike up a conversation. I went back a week later on a busy Friday night but this time I was more determined to talk with her. I caught her walking from the back to the front and I cut her off and said "Hey what's your name?" She answered at which point I said "I'm so and so and handed her a paper with my number on it and said "text me" she smiled and said "ok"

So here we are Wednesday haven't got a text yet which doesn't surprise me being the last 3 girls I dated weren't initially very text, call friendly when we first met anyway. Obviously the more attractive girls either have a boyfriend already or are getting courted by several prospects.

So my question is what should I do to possibly get this girl to actually make contact with me? Conversate more with her when she's at work? I would have asked for her number but she's constantly running up the aisles and I thought it would just take too long. So I decided to give her mine. Giving my number away to a cutie has never failed me.

Seriously? I wouldn't expect any sort of response at all. Let's look at the factors you posted here:

-Hot babe working at a Twin Peaks
-She flirted with you...maybe? If she did, you didn't escalate right then
-You come back at a later time and give her your number; you didn't get her number

Do you not see the problem here? Waitresses working at Twin Peaks are, 90% of the time HBs. These girls know they are HBs. They get hit on all the time, including at work. They have a built-in instinctive reaction to this. For me, if you want to pick up a woman who works at a place like that, you have to really differentiate yourself from the typical crowd of guys who would be willing to tip her $10-$20 to see her rack.

It helps if you have some kind of plans already in mind, like heading to some party. Flirt with her and get some banter going so that she's receptive. Try to number close, but tell her you'd seriously like to meet up with her later after she gets off work and tell her the party you'll be at, wherever it is. That's one way to try and set yourself apart because you're trying to make it really clear you want to get to know her moreso than just hitting on her like every other guy does AND you're providing some kind of entertainment already set up so that all she has to do is be there and she'll know a familiar face.

Id of made a joke about her stealing my ID to stalk me.

The second time around I would of blamed her for a bunch of credit card offers that showed up in my mail and hoped she got the joke.

I also rarely give a girl my number, I try to get theirs.

Thanks for the criticism, pointers, and overall advice. I agree I had a shot to be a little bit more flirty with the wallet situation. Yes giving my number out when a girl is at work has worked for me. @PDX Yeah man I have also had one text me back like two weeks later. Guess will see what happens but I am going back to the spot she works Friday.

The wallet situation was a prime moment. "Are you holding my wallet hostage??? OK, what are the terms I need to meet to get it back??" And wham, you do a number exchange or you take it to where you set up a meet because you "owe her ransom". It's stupid shıt, but I'm sure she doesn't get that scenario THAT often.

Very nice, establishing friendly relations with the lass. Don't mistake being friendly for anything more my friend. Women who work at these establishments are being paid to be extra friendly to customers such as yourself.

It takes a man with large testicles to do what you have done. Being bold, taking the initiative to start relations with the lass. I myself, have business cards that I hand out to the ladies for such moments as this. I have a pretty good return rate with the lasses calling me. You better be a handsome man for it to work or your number will go right in the trash can.

Listen Pimp, I'm a proprietor of a pub and Health Club. I don't like my maids fraternizing with the customers at my establishments. I strictly forbid any relations between them. I'm there to make money, not to see them get laid in their private lives. Most of the beautiful lasses are already courting a gentleman, they don't get turned on by some slobbering horny drunk. The numbers they do get go right in the trash can. These lasses are there to look good to bring in the customers, not to get dates, I pay them to be friendly to the people, nothing more. They forget about those men right after they leave my friend.

She didn't call you when it's her job to be nice to you. Probably she has no seuxal desires for you my friend. Don't go making a pest out of yourself bothering her at her place of employment, you'll feel really sheepish when she doesn't remember you when you try to get it on.

Well I frequent the spot regularly and I have dated 2 girls that I actually turned down because they wanted a relationship to quickly that currently work there.
