Gents, I'm looking to change my wardrobe from the boyish jeans and t-shirt to something more stylish and attractive.

(Non)requirements:
- no suit
- not overly metrosexual
- a bad-boy edge to the style

Yeah, I have no idea what I really what...

Actually, what makes you feel attractive and confident in the way you look?

I personally like to dress up. I am the def of a metrosexual (i have had no problem with women).. i like to wear suits, slacks, sweaters in the winter if it's cold, polo shirts with Sperry's int he summer, summer suits, i like classic /old school style so i will even bust out the fedora from time to time

normal everyday wear.. i'm about to go to an AA meeting here in about 2 hours.. long sleeve Burberry shirt with a solid red vest over it, brown slacks and some brown dress shoes with a watch

Starts and ends with khaki pants. Dark, medium and light khaki along with egg shell white for summer. Corduroy pants are also an option. Simple colors for shirts. Dark blue, dark green, dark purple, maroon and tan. I try to stay away from red, yellow, anything bright and pink.

some examples
darker brown corduroy
khaki

The two things that I look for in clothing is fit and something that's inconspicuous. Nothing flashy. Even a nike swoosh annoys me unless it is small. Why should I pay money to become free walking advertisement for the company.

I feel like many guys in their early twenties dress like jackasses. I won't get into specifics because I dont want to offend anyone.

I keep it pretty simple actually. Jeans (shorts in summer) and a t-shirt. I don't like logos, or designs. Usually my shirts are a solid color. Comfortability is important to me. I'm wearing a solid black shirt, but it's Calvin Klein. Some people think it's ridiculous I'll spend $30 for 3 shirts with NOTHING on them, but they are so comfortable that I don't care. I'm usually always wearing a hat too. As for shoes, Vans, and in summer I'm always wearing sandals. Like I said, comfortability.

As for jackets, I have a leather one that is my favorite. I'm also known to wear sports/NFL jackets from time to time.

In a nutshell, I don't try to be flashy, at all. No pea-****ing here. I have a few tattoos, and that's about it. I actually kind of consider myself a "country boy" if anything. I have a few friends that do the whole "swagger" look and try dressing like New Boyz and sh!t, and I just give them crap for it all the time.

Know these rules:
Shoes need to look good with the pants over the shirt.
Socks match the shoes.
Belt matches the shoes.
Accessories (bracelets, sunglasses, etc.) match the belt.
Your shirts should all be colors that compliment your skin tone.

Now just choose your style.
