So I'm trying to dress more like a college student. I'm 19 this Fall and want to dress like an older mature DJ, it would be cool to see what the 25+ Don Juans dress like; maybe I can take a leaf out of your books?

What do you guys all prefer to wear? I'm not huge into fashion but I like looking nice. Since I'm a slimmer build and pretty white, I usually rock stuff with skater/indie vibes, ZUMIEZ and MACYS among my favorites but most likely, the older Don Juans prefer Nordstrom or Men's Wearhouse.

Someone posted a link to the great site Kinowear, its got a lot of mature outfits. Since I'm younger I can get away with Vans and Nikes, but sooner or later I'll start looking into dress shoes. You guys that wear sports coats and cardigans, what stores /sites do you prefer? What styles do you emulate?

The most important thing is for you to feel sexy and be comfortable with what you wear ;) Find a style that fits you.
That said, I love the peacoat look. I have one very similiar to the one in the 2nd link. It really goes with everything. T-shirts, sweaters. I even wear it with a hoodie some times, mixing casual with formal is always a good choice.

I'd say you already know what you like! Wear what makes you feel good or confident.

If your going for a mature look... Pull your pants up, get a hair cut, wear some nice sweaters, button-up shirts and get some boots! That may sound sarcastic but, think about how teens today look/dress.

Now, your only 19 man, be 19!

At my university, the Indie Rocker scene is pretty big here, so me and a good chunk of the campus (including some of the football team lol) wears skinny jeans, VANS, converse, vnecks, band-tees, etc. I have my ears pierced but regardless of race, everybody does something along those lines in General.

I prefer to dress on the nicer side, but budget doesn't always allow for it. I have a fairly wide range of colors in my wardrobe, as I get bored of the same thing day after day.

As far as specifics, changes pretty often. The R&B singer Ne-Yo has a line through Macy's called Alfani Red. For the most part, I love the clothes in that line (except for the flannel... what's up with that?). I just bought a shirt I love and was gonna post the link but it's not on the website.

I am not a fan of skinny jeans... at all, but I like slim fit or straight leg, depending on brand. If pants get too baggy I feel it looks sloppy.

Guilty pleasure is shoes. My roommate loves to bust my b@lls on that one, but anyone who saw his style would know he has no right haha. I have 8 pairs of shoes right now, and would have more if I had the funds.

There is another thread out there talking about V-necks. I love them, but completely agree you need the right body type for them. I actually bought a couple with intentions to not wear them until I get a little more definition.

I think a really nice watch can go real far in making your style look mature or sophisticated. And by "nice" I don't necessarily mean Rolex. Just a good quality product with a nice, clean look.

I could probably go on way too long on this subject, so I'll just stop here.

For some reason everything tommy hilfiger is on sale for like 50% off right now across my whole city, so I've been hitting that up for blazers and cardigans. I wasn't sure about the cardigan but it's actually a great item -- just throw it over a v neck and it looks cool. The same applies to blazers, get a casual one (H&M will have cheaper ones, and they rotate frequently) and you can wear it with whatever you want. The great thing about these items is that it just makes your outfit dressier -- you don't need to get a whole new wardrobe. Throw on a nice belt and you're good to go. I'm the guy who wears the blazer and dress shirt with the jeans and high-tops. Works for me.

No skinny jeans. Ever. Under any circumstances.

Scarves are a close second.

I am guessing this is her. Love the cute Frenchie accent. I am guessing she already had an affair with your father. Right? That is so very French.
In case you guys haven't figured it out yet, Big Jimbo and All beef are the same two "people". Same writing style, give the same video examples, etc. I noticed it after the first allbeef post I saw. Anyway, I called him out on it, so he's trying to retort in his own "special" way.

And you are not the fake Frenchie? I will put my life on the line that you are. You do a horrible job at it because you are too poor to travel. Too uncultured. Your answer is to lift weights and brag to 14 year old boys online. Sad. Really sad.

For what purpose would it be to make up a fake profile of a girl from France? I think I might have responded to one, maybe two of her posts, out of hundreds...and that makes me her? Please explain. Wouldn't it be a simple matter for the mods here to compare IP addresses? Please, ask them to do so.

I usually go for the indie/punk rocker look myself. skinny jeans, vans/converse, zip up hoodie, jean jacket or flannel, scarves every now and then, sunglasses when I can pull it off.

Good stores to check out if you're going for this kind of look are Urban Outfitters, American Apparel, skate shops, etc.. and honestly guys some of the best clothing I have gotten for this look (And it is backed by girls complementing me on what I'm wearing). Was from thrift stores like Goodwill and Salvation army.

Wardobe is in the ****ter.

Button down and jeans with nice shoes mostly. Something I can get away with at work or at a lounge. Throw in the occasional blazer but its usually to hot here in the south.

Weekends, polos, tees and old school chucks or vans.

I'm just a dude. I don't really stand out until you talk to me, then you understand the awesomeness. :p

I'm a bit too old to be getting a "look" I used to be very urban, hiphop back in the day.

If I could go back to my college days, I would rock nice suits with a good collared shirt, no ties.

That is the greatest look. It is as good as you can look without the air of pretentiousness that a tie would bring with it in casual situations.

Yes, I would ditch the pink floyd tshirt and dress like I do now.

Don't be afraid to be exceptional.

Mostly Carhartt and D1ckies pants, work boots, and t-shirts that are usually sport or band related. In the winter I change it up completely and throw on a thermal shirt under my t-shirt for the layered look. Always a lined hoodie or two.

Oh, and I still wear lighter shaded jeans that were stylish when I was a boy.

I do wear jewelry though. But usually hippie stuff like Fossils (the ancient kind) and beads or tacky looking western jewelry. It doesn't make alot of sense but it's what I like.

If I'm out with a woman who wants to be seen with someone more classy I have khakis and polos and loafers.
