I've heard that chocolate milk is a good post-workout drink. Lately I've been drinking a pint of lowfat chocolate milk and a scoop of whey in skim milk after I lift weights. It's partly because I heard it's a good PWO drink and partly because I love chocolate milk and I almost never have cheat meals so it's basically my one vice
Plus it's like a little reward to myself after finishing a hard workout. I have a very strong stomach so I can gulp it down like water with no problem even after squatting and deadlifting.
Is this a good idea and if so what is a good amount to be drinking?
