childhood movies and now

Has anyone watched their favorite shows and movies from their childhood from when they were young now?

I just watched the pagemaster, which I used to love, again and I was highly disappointed.

Why doesn't everyone else share their favorite movies from childhood and what they think of them now compared to then.

Red Dawn was a disappointment, but it was awesome when I was a kid.

A couple of movies I can still watch and enjoy are:
Goonies
Tombstone

it seems like EVERY movie i loved when i was young seems so "cheap" and corny ...

pagemaster, labrynth, dark crystal, the toy..

dont get me wrong i still love these movies, but you can def. tell the difference now with the advance in cinema and effects.

even television show plots like saved by the bell, fresh prince, etc

Dude Labrynth scared the sh1t out of me! The part where those weird people were in her room and giving her all those stuffed dolls......scarrrry!

I am actually a little younger then most so my oldest movie I think is Super Ted lol. The first movie I saw in theatres was Nightmare b4 Christmas so that was a good movie and I still love it! Most of the shows I watched were cartoons like Captain Planet and Yogi Bear..moviewise maybe powerranges the movie....I still think it was funny, not good but funny at least lol.
