Chicks with low cut tops 'covering' themselves while talking to you?

Don't know if anyone's experienced this but I happened to notice something AFTER talking normally with a few chicks at work.

Now not even looking PURPOSELY at their v-neck tops and cleavage, talking to chicks I talk with pretty regularly who wave and say hi that I work with I noticed something they've ALL did and I'm not sure if it's just me or has this happened to other posters here.

Going up, just talking about random crap etc. NOTHING sexual or hitting on. (At work) I've noticed now that I think about it at LEAST four chicks 'covering' with shawls or 'adjusting' their v-neck work shirts as soon as I or approached or they've approached me and started talking without me even looking at their cleavage on separate occasions.

Now these chicks are friendly and very good looking and I've known them for a little while now and come off with basically my everyday 'wise assed' funny non-chalant attitude to everyone.

What I'm wondering is have other dudes experienced chicks 'subconsciously' adjusting 'covering' themselves while walking up to you or them that you know personally and do you feel they subconsciously WANT you to notice what they are doing? Or are all chicks these days subconsciously paranoid that you may be 'looking' at their 'charms' even if you PURPOSELY aren't?

Yeah dude it happens. All the time . The chicks know they're tats are out and choose to start adjusting them when men are around cos they instinctively know the dressing is kind of innappropriate

Just to be clear, even conservatively dressed women with boobs fully covered will close their blazer jacket or something like that.

Funny thing is these chicks though younger DO flirt with me and smile a lot when we talk. Touch me or 'hit' me playfully. But these chicks are much younger. Hot as hell though. I work with LOADS of hot co-workers and customers in my second part time job. (Only reason I stay there. lol)

I don't mind. Fvck it. If I DID get caught I would simply say: Yep. Too late. I already looked.

It's almost like a dude 'adjusting' his junk as soon as he starts to talk to a chick..Though from a guys point of view who did that he either consciously or subconsciously WANTS her to notice.

I can be, like the OP said, talking strictly about business. I've seen thrn close their sweater, jacket, or extreme worst case close their arms in front of their chest. It happens maybe 10 percent of the time.

Maybe it's because women are generally self-concious about their bodies, so it's kind of like when they drop something or bumble through paperclips while nervous? Maybe? I'm just shooting ideas.

Sounds similar to pre-rejecting you before you can get "any ideas". They probably assume that everyone who talks to them is automatically interested, and they must shoot them down or show disinterest before anything can happen. Mostly an ego thing. They're usually full of themselves. Like you say, they're hot girls. Ironically, they usually throw a hissy fit when people AREN'T fawning all over them.

I'm not buying the ONLY reason chicks ‘cover' themselves is because they aren't interested and are covering up so you don't get an ideas. I've NEVER noticed customer's doing the same thing. Mostly chicks I work with.

Side note: All of those chicks have touched me a few times (playful hitting) as well as playing with their hair, smiling while looking at me and laughing and keep waving or saying hi knowing full well my real age. Some STILL can't believe it. A few have even asked why I didn't show up at a certain party (I never knew about) or made comments as to "Oh I wonder how this or that event would've been if naughty ninja was there." Or even asked me to meet up with them. Hell even the younger dudes in their twenties invite me to parties. Never went to any of them though. Too busy.

These chicks are in their early twenties. I'm single in my lower 40's.

Two of the older ones near my age and one older I directly put my hand on their lower back and then their ass and NEITHER minded. One even commented on how much she liked it. The other seemed happy as a lark smiling her ass off and standing there not moving.

Problem 1) It's work. I need to restrain myself!! LMAO.

Problem 2) The twenty something’s know my age (as I make sure they do. No one believes me though) and at work that could be turned around against me no matter how much they 'seem' to like me if things didn't work out. (You know the deal: The 'older creeper' society loves to 'tame' men with.)

Now I could totally understand if a chick gave you a dirty look, barely kept up conversation, or shied away but this is different.

Not sure if these chicks do that to a lot of people even if they are attracted to them as a way to get some extra 'attention' or like another poster said subconsciously know they are revealing a tad too much.

It's a vicious circle. I wasn't even thinking about boobs. Then she covers them which gets me thinking and makes me self-conscious.

I was quite comfortable BEFORE she covered them. Afterwards, it feels awkward.

I would consider it negative body language too if they weren't touching me, smiling, laughing, and continuing to engage in conversation after they've done it. Who knows. I think in my case at least they know they are showing a bit too much and may try to play more 'conservative'. Never had a problem with it. Just wondering what the hell is going on when chicks do that. Same ones who will always smile and wave/ say hi while catching them looking at me. No big deal really. Just thought about it and started wondering..lol

My ex did this when I saw her. Its definitely a sign of the girl not trusting you or being uncomfortable. Or perhaps insecure over her body. Ive rarely seen a girl in a bar Ive approached do it. More than likely if a girl does this. She is not interested in you. A feminine woman trying to attract the highest value guy there. Would not hide her breasts.

It ONLY happens to me at work. I've never had it happen "in the field.". Bar girls usually use other IODs such as the eye roll.

I've been at my job for 9 years, so I'm quite certain that while i'm well liked, I'm totally friendzoned at BEST with every female there. I don't mind because I don't try to pick up there anyway.
