If a chick you are seeing "mistakenly" leaves things in your car or place. (Brush, shirt etc.) You can bet your azz she's marking her territory.

I've had that happen a few times. When you hand it back to her and tell her: "Oh you forgot this." Just smile at her. She'll know you are on to her.

On a side note Chicks who wear your t-shirt around your place or to run to the store is pretty damn hot.

For years I've had a lost and found drawer. I eventually had a complete outfit in assorted garments, and I always wanted to find a girl who would put on the lost and found outfit, but nobody would. In fact they usually won't even put their own stuff back on.

I eventually tossed everything and started a new collection which currently has about 5 pairs of panties, 1 negligee, an earring (which must have got caught on the blindfold), a pair of socks, and 1 brassiere (warning sign: the first time I took the stripper's bra off in my apartment the strap broke and $40 fell out).

The other night my date was looking through the collection and was actually impressed.

The items can be handy if you ever need an excuse to text her. "Is this yours by chance?"

When I bedded my now-ex-girlfriend for the first time, I accidentally left a collared shirt at her house. She found it and took it with her on vacation, which was hot. I let her keep it, but I then stole it back a few months later.

I had a get-together at my place once, and a "friend" brought my ex. This "friend" didn't know Jessica was my ex, but Jessica knew she was coming to my place and apparently played dumb.

It was a potluck event, and Jessica brought a casserole dish (which I didn't touch). When she left that evening, she "forgot" the serving spoon.

I managed to get it back to her via her roommate whom I knew would be at another get-together, but only after several back-and-forth attempts at contacting Jessica to return the damn thing. Maybe that was a mistake, but I wanted no trace of her in the house. It was bad enough that she even showed up but I was not going to toss her out.

Anyway she has the spoon back now, hahaha....but this thread makes me wonder if she was up to something. She has not tried to contact me since, by the way; ditto on my end.

Oh, and my other "friend" is forever off my future guest list.

My previous GF and my current didn't take long to "just leave my shampoo and bodywash here, it will save me bringing it each time"

Yet they bring bags and bags of clothes when they come.

Yep, they are marking their territory. Most men don't realize this.

Yep. lol.

They'll leave earrings, lipstick, a brush etc. "innocently left" in your car or around your place so either you get the hint they are looking to claim their prize or don't notice the things and some other chick will find them getting you busted by both of them. And or read your reactions with them in the future if you do find them and give them back. They'll look for signs you got busted or at least something happened and some other chick found them.

Marking their territory is a good thing unless you're dating a nut job.

It gets annoying after a while, especially if they want to see you again but you don't want to see them. I regularly empty my goodie drawer for this reason. Had 1 stalker ONS (would have seen her again, but she came on waaay too fast after the first night) who left a beach towel at my place and kept pestering me about it on and off for months until I finally told her I threw it away and blocked her.

The shampoo thing is funny. One girl I dated a while back brought like 5 bottles of stuff for the bathroom her 2nd time in and never took them back, even after we stopped talking. I ended up letting the next few girls use her shampoo/conditioner/whatever else it was heh, was honest about it too.

The most common thing left around the house is hair bands - I still find one from time to time, followed by cheap jewelry.

This happened to me once and worked to my advantage.

A girl left a hairtie or a twistie thing once in the side pocket of my passenger door. Sneaky sneaky. Anyway, a few days later I had another girl in my passenger seat, and she found it. Conversation went something like:

HB: (attitude) What is this?
Me: (calm) I don't know a hairtie?
HB: No I mean whose is it?
Me: Probably some girls.
HB: How many other girls are you dating?
Me: I'm not dating anyone - I'm just looking for the right one.

HB was quiet and I changed the subject.

I banged her for the first time later that night.

No need to argue with chicks. When they get all pissy, just calm down and act indifferent. Works perfectly.

Panties, clothing, shampoo, CDs, earrings, movies, you name it. The most unusual way I've seen it done is when I took this girl on a date to a flea market. She bought a cook book and left it in my vehicle. She never once asked for it back.

The most unique way I've ever seen is when I was dating an artist. I have a few white boards around the house for writing notes and stuff. She drew on every single one of them.

I still randomly find hair pins, and I have no clue who they belonged to.

Random strands of hair on the sheets. I once found a hairball under my bed.

Check under your bed and in your car.

They'll get up in the morning/leave in the middle of the night and leave a bra somewhere, or a hair pin.

They will also put stuff in your car... glove compartment, under the seat, back seat etc. Hair ties, girly sun glasses, lipstick, etc.

And, as some have mentioned, this is not always a bad thing. It can mean they plan on seeing you again.

And, it can let other women know that other women are in your life and also marking territory. That competition can work to your advantage, depending on how you play it.
