The woman from that video looks like she was born in the 1990s. For women born in the 1980s-1990s, the idea of settling is considered disgusting.
Feminism has been telling women to "Never Settle!" since the 2nd Wave (1960s-1980s feminism). Gen Y/Millennials (1981-1996 births) were the first generation that truly took that message to heart. That's why marriage rates and fertility rates have been so much lower for the Gen Y/Millennial group, especially the White women with bachelor's degrees + from that generation.
