Chick fights?

Last night I went to a hawaiian bar with my room mate to meet two girls from his bar. When we got there it was apparent that they'd had a few drinks cause they were butchering "Hey Joe" in the kareoke area of the bar. Anyway there weren't a ton of people in there but I noticed these three hawaiian girls eyeing Melissa (one of the girls I was there with)on their way outside to do whatever it was that they were going to do. I didn't see Melissa's face but she had just broke up with her boyfriend not too long ago so I imagine she wasn't in the mood for anybody's sh*t.

Anyway the place got a little more crowded as the night went on. My room mate and I had a few beers and the girls had some more long islands. I took my turn on the Kareoke machine, got the place a little live with some Nas (I made you look) and no sooner had I finished and got some hi fives from some hawaiian bro's when one of the three chicks straight bum rushed Melissa. Ah but Melissa's a scrapper she got on top of this girl and starts popping her. I looked over to my room mate to get her off of the hawaiian girl, he did and the hawaiian girl came at her again while my room mate was holding her. Melissa then broke free of my room mate and they scrap again. I stepped in with one of the hawaiian guys, he pulled the girl off and i stood between them and melissa. Then Melissa goes ballistic side steps me punches the hawaiian girl but good in the jaw and they go at it again!
The hawaiian girl got melissa pinned against the glass doors ajoining the bar to the restarunt next to it and I hear "Let em go" and I see two other hawaiian guys part ways and the other two hawaiian girls step in and start getting a bunch of cheap shots in on Melissa while she's pinned.
At that point I really had had enough, I was not out for this kind of drama with girls I barely know. So I grab locked arms with one of the two hawaiian girls who jumped in as she was about to throw yet another cheap shot. I inform my room mate that this is over and we're out of there.
On the way out Courtney (the other girl we were there with) sucker punches the inital hawaiian girl in the jaw. And then we all booked it back to our rides and cruised back to her (courtney) house to clean up melissa before we went some where else.

My question is do alot any of you find chick fights at all stimulating? I'm not really that down with fighting unless I absolutely have to, and usually when I see a fight male or female i think its really really stupid. But some of the guys in the bar I was in were standing and watching it like it was porn or something. Hell two of the guys pretty much instigated more fighting. Do any of you really like watching chicks fight? and if so why?

depends how controlled the fighting is ... with the exception of a few sick individuals no one likes to resort to violence to solve problems.

Im absolutly not down with chick fights. what do they think they are, men? I dont think the girl is worth spending time with, if she fights, a lot. If shes done with once or twice bc she absolutly had to, then thats fine, but if she looks to get in fights, **** it.

its really an unforgetable sight though. pulling the hair, scratching, b1tch slapping one another.
all other guys were watching because its enterntaining. when two guys fight its boring, one punch two punch someone goes down, gets kicked in the ribs and its over. now with chicks its like a free circus show.

This chick apparently had a history of getting into fights. She's a scrapper. She did clean up really nicely after the fight, she was a little stir crazy, but apparently she'd done things like this before. We went to another bar and she was telling everybody how she brawled with this chic earlier in the night.

I found the whole thing very stupid and juvenile. She has a really spotted past with adoptions and stuff like that but I still don't think it's an excuse to go around picking fights.

Chick fights remind us guys that the guys are just like us in some respects. I use to think that women were all this dainty and nice. Them gals talk about us guys just as nasty as we talk about them. Gals sometimes talk bad to a guy and dare them to hit them. When I see a chick fight, I feel as if something is done to a bytch that I might think about doing but won't. Good. Hit her some more. Then you get to see the clothes ripped off and a tit fly out here and there. That's always good. If I had a gal and she was in a chick fight, I'd let her go win or loose. It's like she's defending her womanhood against another woman. So I'd let it go. I'd stop it if I thought that she was going to get killed. I wouldn't ever let something like that go that far.

Chick fights don't seem like "fun" to me. Most of the time it gets as bad as guy fights.

During this time I was with a pleasure cruise with a bunch of college buddies, we were drinking a bit too much and some of the girls from our group got into fights with girls from other groups. We had to drag them off each other when they started using broken bottles.

Then after we hold them back, some of them break loose (you don't want to hold them when they've just picked up some glass shards) and go at it again. Eventually we had to actually use chairs to knock their bottles out of their hands, and lock them up in seperate rooms for the rest of the trip.

One good trip spoiled by a bunch of idiots. Guys or girls, its the same.

It depends on the way the girls fight. I have only been in one knock down drag out with a girl when I was 18 or 19. She was a scratcher, hair puller and slapper. She swung at me and I punched her in the face so hard I knocked her on her arse. She got up and swung again so I proceeded to beat the snot out of her. Two guys had to really work hard to get me off her and I guess I hit them a few times too. I didn't mean to, they just got in between my fists and her face, I guess. That one was not fun, even though I came out of it without even a scratch or a bruise on me. I would have preferred not to fight...but the fool kept swinging at me, so I had to. Just like I tell my kids...don't ever be the one to swing first...but you damn well better be the one to swing last if it comes to that.

I did have 3 incidents in high school with boys. You know...the type that try to impress their pals by being arseholes to girls? One was a kid throwing stuff at me (and other girls) on the bus. He was a clumsy dork and I warned him to knock it off. He didn't listen so I essentially made him eat the last thing he threw at me. The second incident was in typing class. We were doing a speed and accuracy test and this jacka$$ got up and came over to me and started pushing on the keys of my typewriter when the teacher left the room. When he turned around to walk away, I picked up the huge hardcover typing book and threw it at the back of his head. It knocked him forward and he ended up taking out two typing desks and destroying those typewriters. The third time a senior "jock" thought he was cute and funny and grabbed my boob in front of his friends. I punched him in the face just as hard as I could and broke his nose. He had two black eyes for awhile. Needless to say, he never tried that again. I never started anything with anyone, but I also never tolerated any BS from anyone, female or male.

Ironically, my 19 year old daughter had a similar situation with a boy grabbing her boob when she was around the same age I was when it happened to me. It happened on a 2nd story porch. She literally threw him off the porch. He had been sexually harassing her for a couple of months and she just snapped that day.

Starting fights is dumb, but defending yourself and sticking up for yourself is something you need to do to nip harassment in the bud.
