So let's say you meet a girl and she works at a bank. She is not a teller, she is some kind of finance advisor who sits in an office.

Anyway, it just so happens I use the bank she works at.. Can she just pull up my name and see what I have in my account? Or is there better security than that?

I don't want her seeing what's in my account. It could be a reason I haven't heard from her.

Keeping a girls interest level high when she knows you are broke is not going to be easy.

Being broke has nothing to do with it. It's your attitude. You don't know who you are. You haven't defined yourself, and it shines through so much. I see it in every single post you make. Everything you say is to impress, react, or lacks any direction what so ever.

Who are you? Do you have what it takes?

You need to sit back for a moment and really think about it from a whole different perspective. Think "maybe it's me". Maybe it's something I'm doing over and over.

I know what it is, but do you? You need to find out.

I'm sure gaming a chic who has access to your bank account info has NO effect on her if she looks at it and sees you are broke.

And I'm sure that would not affect her interest since you are such a confident cool guy.

Now for the original question, do all bank employees have access to the customer accounts and balances?

I am sure there are laws against it. I work in a related field and I have access to SSN #'s and everything else that could make it very easy to steal anybody's identity. But the programs we use are highly monitored. I am sure there's are too. In fact if you went in and asked a manager they could probably get you a list of everyone who has looked at your account.

If she's not a teller, I am doubting this information would be easy for her to access unless she had a reason to...

..but you're getting WAY ahead of yourself...

If it bothers you that much, make casual mention that you do your main banking elsewhere. It's not that uncommon for people to have multiple accounts, especially if the own a business or something like that. I have had an account in a certain bank for years, with a running balance of about $400. If a chick were to see that and I assume that's all I was worth, she would be mistaken. Plus, a lot of people keep money in other places. Most of the people I know keep money in other negotiable instruments, and only transfer money to their checking account when they need it.

As always, worry about that when you get there. Sounds like you are making excuses not to try.... you may get a date with her, fvck her, and decide you don't like her well before you ever get to that phase.. so stop thinking so far ahead.

Funny, I just got a job as a banker that sells mutual funds, and give out loans. I'll let you know next week if we have access to that information, we probably do.

What do you mean "heard" from her? Did you guys have a date and she stood you up?

By the way, she can check it out. This girl I was seeing for 6 months did it to me.

I love you Mavrick.

In a totally non-gay way.

I just realized that the current issue that I'm upset over is MY FAULT and not the girls before I read your post, but your post hit it home for me. :)

Thank you man!

My friend works at a bank. With the information they have on each bank account holder, they can not only look at how much you have in your account but also your withdrawal history and location.

I think the one thing that may save you is if you are the type of guy who can bring excitement to her. Those banker ho's are starving for excitement cause they spend most of their lives in a fvcking bank.. So if you can be the excitement guy and she likes you enough to delay her search for a secure man, well then you may just be lucky enough to be the guy who blows it up from all angles possible before she marries the rich but boring accountant who comes into deposit his paycheck every few weeks even when he can get direct deposit.

I knew a financial advisor girl who worked at a bank and she was this dudes "toy" basically. More luck too you!

Or I can just go for a girl that doesn't know I'm broke and save time and trouble. There are plenty out there. I'm not giving up completely I'm just backing off a bit because she has changed her tune since we first met.

She was calling me every day when I met her, and now she has dropped off the planet.

Or you can trust that she wouldn't do something to put her job in jeopardy.

Men frequently err by talking too much. They often monopolize conversations, droning on and on about topics that bore women to tears. They think they're impressing the women when, in reality, they're depressing the women.

Well I just called this one and talked to her for the first time in over a week. She was cool and I asked her out for tomorrow night and I got the "I'll let you know" line.

I hate that line. I told her to pick me up tomorrow night maybe that wasn't the best way to approach the situation lol.
