What exercises help make that space between your chest close in?

Flyers is the easiest thing to do if you want to hit the inner pecs...

You could try to do close grip, but you really have to squeeze your pecs when you have the barbell up to maximise the effectiveness of the exercise, otherwise its your your chest and your triceps being worked on.

Close grip chest exercises, Dumb bell flyes, pushups with arms closer to chest. When your chest is expansive and there's a "valley" your chest is expanding and the inner chest muscle isn't getting worked out. If you do your usual chest workouts, concentrate less on size and working those inner chest muscles. I recently had this problem and I'm seeing results of me concentrating my efforts on the inner chest muscle area.

Ummm... guys, there's no such thing as an 'inner pec'. There is pec major and pec minor, but no inner pec. If you're worried about the lack of muscle over the sternum (breast bone) then don't, it's normal. There are no exercises you can do to grow muscle where there is no muscle.

Listen to the man!

I thought I answered this topic yesterday .. either way, just build up your pecs, the chest grows as one muscle and hasn't got components to isolate..

there is no inner chest that you can work out in isolation like you could, say rear deltoids. do your presses, eat lots, and hopefully your pec muscles will gain size and thickness that gives them the appearance of being pressed together and forming that tight line in the middle. and if they don't, it's genetic.

any form of benchpress incline decline bb db wide grip close grip.
