Society has been decieved and corrupted, if only people knew the truth of why we were created male and female, and for what purpose and what our roles are as opposite sexes.

I suggest people put away any prejudice and google and research "Theology of the body" and try to understand it before coming to a conclusion and I guarantee you'll see wisdom and truth in it.

Excessive desire is bad yeah.... but the fact of the matter is your parents had sex their parents had sex, their parents had sex, ad infinitum until the beginning of time. So while you say Abstinence and Celibacy is the Key to Wisdom and Eternal Truth, I say that Sex is the Key to Life.

Call it an illusion but there is nothing to be ashamed with trying to get women. Working on yourself and trying to get women are not mutually exclusive as your 2nd paragraph implies. I can do both without quitting the other.

Sex is not the key to the life. Bedding hot women is not the key to life. You will be miserable chasing it. A hot women's games will cause you much frustration. Sex is the key to your imagination which creates a prison for your soul, because you think you need a release from a hot woman. Why do you think their is AIDS, STD's Herpes and all sexually trasmitted diseases? There is a reason for it. It is because too many people sleep around too much and spread it.

1. Who says sex is reserved for marriage in its "purest state"? Who defined this definition and what "pure" is? I don't have to marry someone to have meaningful sex with them.

2. I never said bedding hot women is the key to life.

3. Almost every single STD can be easily avoided with the knowledge of 9th grade health class.

4. Your whole 2nd paragraph is just a bunch of garbage, you throw around words like "sacred", "pure", "prison for soul" basically a bunch of feel good garbage to make it seem like your celibacy actually puts you on a higher plane. 2nd you also made the assumption I think I need release from a woman, which is not true.

Happiness is different for everybody. There is no definite way to get this "true happiness". I enjoy sex a lot. I don't chase girls but if I think a girl is cute I will definitely put my bid in and try to get her. I chase money because the more money you get the more things you can do in life.

In response to your other thread. Girls look at assets when dealing with male. Why would a girl want to be with a man who has nothing for himself?

Maverick has got it right, but there's this thing called concupiscience that we human beings all struggle with because of the failure of the first man, Adam who was persuaded by his wife Eve, to disobey God.

Now instead of being in perfect bliss as we were originally made, we as fallen human beings have this corruption within us that makes us desire sex, money, power. To indulge in pleasures that is not only insatiable but leads to agony, despair, what the Bible refers to as "grinding of the teeth" and the culture of death.

I myself, am afflicted with this concupiscience and have indulged in premartial sex, and now I pay the price, with heartbreak and an addiction to pvssy.

I am tormented with the thoughts of my ex and the sex we had haunts me especially if I can no longer have her, but you get the point.

If we behaved in the way we were originally intended, as male and female, as sex being the sacred act of tying a married husband and wife together till death do they part. Then I'm sure we would not have all these broken hearts by unfaithful spouses.

The truth is, is that sexual intercourse was not made for recreation, but for procreation, between a husband and wife...

Sex is natural, humans are ultimately born and raised to reproduce. However society over the last fifty years has become more and more obsessed with sex. Sex in moderation is healthy, fun and good for the soul. I suppose those who are celibate and abstain from sex and relationships are happier. They don't have to deal with all the crap that comes from the game and the crap that women throw at you. However I can't think of too many living organisms that will refuse to mate.

Companionship you can get a from a friend, family member, or pet.
It seems to me that many guys describe sex as a human need such as food, shelter, water, and clothes. You do not need sex to survive. Those are facts written in science. Look at any medical journal. Reproducing doesn't come from lust, it comes from love in a marriage. Period.

Like I said before, I"m not one of those guys. I don't think I need sex to survive, but it is still a necessary part of life to go on. Actually in today's age a lot of kids have only 1 parent and that hood guy who knocked up 6 women managed to reproduce without getting married. (Obviously not a good thing for a society, but it proves reproducing can indeed can straight from lust, marriage was never a requirement.)

Try meditating and going 3 months without sex. Turn down the ladies when offered sex. Try not approaching women or sarging. See how you feel after 3 months? I will tell you you will feel a higher power. Your confidence will rise. You will feel a mental release.

I have already done this before, yes you do feel different and it gives you perspective but its hardly a reason to stay celibate.
