I started working at mc donalds and theres lots of chicks there but i can never get a conversation going. Its always "Hi, how are you?" - "Im good. How are you?"- "Im good. Thank you." or "hey whats up?" - "not much". And thats pretty much it. The first we talk, i asked about their high school and stuff. Well what else can we talk about? Im not trying to date them or anything. I especially feel very embarrased during breaks where me and some girl just sit there eating and no one says a word.

So be the man and just TALK to them, you have to keep it going if its hard to start up, think of stuff to ask, about their life, what they want to do, where they want to go, what they have done.

Basicly just be a little flirty, loosen them up :)

Ask them questions about themselves and their interests to get the ball rolling. Also, you can talk about what you did that weekend, ask them what they did over the weekend, movies, clothes, music or just about anything else. Also, understand that not everyone is friendly and outgoing. If someone is not warming up to you, then just be cordial and stop trying to buddy up to them.

Ask them something about themselves that need an explanation. Ask them what was the last BAD movie they had seen. How about what they think about reality shows or something where they need to explain. Listen carefully and they will give you tons of things where you can interject your opinion.
