Can you still approach girl in a quiet study place?

I was wondering if it's possible to approach a girl in one of those "quiet study areas". No one talks to anyone there, and I don't know how the girl would react. And also, what if she's studying in one of those "cubicles" all by herself? Has anyone tried? thanks

You mean like in a library? It can be done, but is hard, because they are there studying.

Also depends on what approach you use. Like, if you see them reading a book of a class you are taking/took, then you can just go up and be like 'oh, you are taking <whatever class> so am I! Who is your teacher?"

I wouldnt blindly approach a girl in the library. If we make eye contact and smile then I will go talk to them because it means they want you to approach. But dont jsut go up to a girl thats studying and hit on her out of nowhere, it can only lead to rejection.

HB6: What? I'm not just gonna MAKE OUT with you in a library! Maybe later though. *smiles*

HB6: But I will give you this though.. [hard kiss on the cheek]
007: Ha aight cool. I get out of class in an hour. What's your number I'll call you when I get out?

I know what you mean dude. I was in a bookstore a few weeks ago. Was sitting in a lazy chair reading when a very attractive girl walks by and makes eye contct wth me and smiles. She went somewhere a minute then came back to her chair, made two glances at me and smiled again. Im gunshy anyways. but I totally felt out of place to even try to approach her.

completely agreed. I think the problem is that a lot of poeple have limiting beliefs about themselves and they try to project them on others... like he did on 007

I know guys who do this kind of **** all the time. Yes its out of the norm. Yes they could be rejected (but they look at it like something fun, more fun than reading for that extra 3 mins). Yes it takes balls. And it has led to more crazy stories that you would ever believe. I wont even begin to write one of them here, people like that other guy would just flame/doubt it

You have to deal with rejection. That's the name of the game.

I personally like libraries. The girls are usually bored stiff with whatever they're studying and want to talk to ANYONE. Giving them a 5 minute break isn't going to hurt their grades. It's also a good venue for the shy types, cause you don't have to be a -- WOO HOO -- "alpha" type.
