I've read many-a threads around the internet, and many-a threads on sosuave. Some post regurgitated information available to anybody, either in the DJ bible or similar seduction/pickup books, and other's propose unique theories. Likewise, some of us even post OFF TOPIC information related to wealth building and enhancement, objectivism, conspiracy theories, and the like. Yet, most times you get rebuttle, it's only countered with those who only on the BASIS of a first glance or OPINION, reject it. And the only reason people so readily BUY the DJ bible is that they've exhausted ALL other options.
When a NEOPHYTE NICE GUY adopts his NICE guy philosophy, it's the one HE THINKS will yield "X" result. As he has no previous experience, it's the gut reaction to getting a girl. BE NICE = RESULTS. But is that realistic in society today? Unfortunately, no. But until you've REALIZED through experience what pain this NICE GUY act actually creates, you're not likely to drop it. UNLESS, someone who tells you is...
1) Successful
2) In a position of authority or respect to you
3) You've exhausted all your attempts and WILL TRY ANYTHING in desperation
Very many of you have friends, some of which have GF's who wouldn't this information if it guaranteed them lays everynight from all the Playboy Playmates, yet man after man returns and reposts their success. To argue or debate the veracity and power of what you know (and the DJ bible is really grade school compared to what can be learned), is foolish. You're really arguing with an ignorant person.
Likewise, arguing on the ANYTHING else boards, or for that matter BOARDS which guys have yet to discover the DJ BIBLE on, is foolish. In school, if you made a thesis statement and didn't back it up with facts, it was an Automatic F. In life, the same is true. Except, people are SO USED to even buying the Evening News without MANY facts, people READILY accept bold faced lies as truth. Much of what people PERCEIVE as real, isn't. And much of what people perceive as UNreal is very true. Most of the time our expectations go unfilled, and it's the unexpected that happens.
So in returning to my original question based in philosophy...can you reject anything if you don't understand it? How can you negate what the Secret espouses if you didn't first WATCH the whole video and take a gander at a book or two? How can you reject it as UNTRUE if you never TRY it for yourself?
In reality, you can't. You can reject it because it conflicts with your reality, your belief systems, or some other ignorant surface objection, but you can't REJECT it that it does not work. Many guys use stuff from mASF with success, perhaps MORE publicly than stuff from SoSuave, yet guys here boldly reject that ONLY on the basis of philosophy. And EVEN if this SS stuff works BETTER, yet, you never tried it, you STILL can't reject mASF as BS until you give it a fair shake.
We're very ignorant people. I'll even admit it of myself. Perhaps that's why I'm open-minded. When someone asks me my opinion of gay marriage, I tell them I have none, because I don't want people having an opinion of straight marriage. I wouldn't want someone regulating my life anymore than I'd want someone doing it to someone else, or me doing it you. We know a VERY small % of the truths of the universe, and when I say truths, I mean such things as GRAVITY, something concrete. There are very FEW CONCRETE constructs to reality.
Too often people post and completely reject an idea before they ever RESEARCH it. If you don't LIKE it, fine, that's your opinion, but were someone to come to me and tell me SS stuff doesn't work, I'd know they'd be lying, b/c I knew about this before I knew about the site. The difference being, SS gave a name to what I knew and a structure. Back then I just had books and habits and thoughts and journals. Nothing more. But SS can't diminish my own truths anymore than I can diminish SS's truths.
The Internet is a powerful communication tool, and like a sword can be used for good and evil, the difference being its intentions, and only then, GOOD and EVIL is a matter of perspective, from which you stand on your virtues and principles. I post this somewhat deep, convoluted post because you cannot discount ANYTHING unless you're willing to first research it. Your opinion is mere AIR if the only thing you have to respond is..."I don't believe."
The only thing differing is what people believe OF reality, yet the thing is, it's ALL based on Faith, even on the FAITH that certain religious and historical records are in fact REAL and TRUE, and to that extent is it really believable they are?
The easiest metaphor is to have some AFC post on here, who has no familiarity with the DJ site or writings and yet try to ARGUE against it, against what is espoused, without EVER using or reading a bit of it. Would that many sense? So if you buy that, see what else applies in your life. Since life is an extension of beliefs the reality before us is ONLY limited by what our minds conceive, perceive, and believe. The pain or pleasure experienced is an extension of those beliefs, repeated.
Can you really reject anything if you do not understand it? Sure you can...you'll just be VERY ignorant in doing so.
