I can still do so with my Right arm, never could with my left arm, but I'm working on it, using dumbells. I turn my body sideways to do the 1 armed pushup. My Korean instructor could do one armed pushups with his arm held sideways across his chest. In other words, he'd position his right palm in front of his LEFT shoulder, chest towards the ground.
the real deal fitness thing, tho, is 1 armed CHINUPS, with either arm. Not one man in 20,000 can do that.
