can you be successful with women if you're not into a big social scene?

I've spent my life boozing and partying. Its the only thing social groups do here.

I'm fed up with drink and drugs. They take me off my goals of healthy living and job success. It takes me a week to summon the energy to train after a big night. Plus it's boring. I've done it a million times. It seems an uninspired way to live.

the issue is, I have a big social group but would lose it if I just turned my back on boozing. I don't mind a night out a few times a year but sick and tired of it.

I will end up as a temporary loner, well, I still have friends I can visit for tea on a Sunday, but not much else.

I'm thinking of ditching somewhat the boozy mates...at 33, its harder to make new ones.

I don't really need constant social contact, I'm keen to get focussed on other things, but worried if I have little social life what that shows women. Can you be skilled with the ladies by acting mainly solo and being a work and gym rat? I'm happier that way, drink and substance destroys me.

Please don't judge teetotal or anti drug dj. I've lived a different life.

Thoughts? Ditch the party gang, go solo and find like minded friends?

Does spending all that time with that group bring you extra dollars in your pocket? Does it enhance you in any way?

Does it increase your energy?

How does it benefit you?

It doesn't. I agree. I am worried without a social scene I could put potential women off as I don't have any friends really who aren't big partiers.

Screw it, I'll go it alone anyway, but it has been the fear of being a loner which has kept me in this scene for years.

You can still kill it with women & not be a huge partier/social butterfly if you're more like a sigma male. You still have to be social and have game if you go this route though.

Here is my favorite exchange:

Inviter: Hey Guru, do you want to come to XYZ place Thursday night? It will be a blast!

Guru: Will I be making any money there?

Inviter: No.

Guru: Then why would I go.

You don't have to cut it completely out. I like to party a little myself, I just don't do it so much that it ruins the next day for me. Maybe you can do that once a month or so, if you wish.

As far as getting girls, of course you get them away from the nightlife scene. What kind of stupid question is that? The only girls you'll get from the nightlife scene are of a certain type anyway.

Surely there are some less 'intense' nightlife scenes in your area? Young professional groups? Other activities - running, biking, hiking, etc.? Philanthropies you care about?

IMO I dont think not having that many friend will impact your chances at all. Not everyone that holds a serious job have time for keeping a lot of friendships and social activities.

All depends of your attitude. If you look like a loner and are not social then I guess it is not the best thing.

Honestly when I have a gf I like to spend my time with her ****ing and enjoying her rather then going to partys and social events.

Every style is different... remember not many peoples have that many real friends.

Get a motorcycle. It makes being a loner into something sexy in women's eyes.
That's for sure, motorcycles are poosy magnets it seems.

If you're not into motorcycles, lifted red-necked out pickups are the next best choice.

Having a cool dog attracts attention too.

I fly microlights occasionally, but only 3-4 times a year.

Might get a bike for the flange.
