these people can't do eye contact (one of the basics), they suck at social interactions, they are extremely anxious, they dont know how to smile or show emotions and have a blank face / stare.

yet i know people with autism/asperger who get dates, girlfriends some even get married.

i never told anyone this, but this is something i need to share

I'm 41 y/o. when i was like 6 y/o i used to have some autism characteristics that went on till i was 8 or 9.

i would sit in a corner, sitting like the Chinese, rocking my body back and forth or when i was excited or happy i would smile and flap my hands like the wings of a bird. I also had some behavior problems and couldn't read or write, so much that the teacher told my dad i was a mental retard (my mother left me and my others when i was 3 or 4 and i grew up with my father and grandmother).

I went to another teacher's class and this is when everything changed, i started reading and writing better than the other kids in class and my behavior went from retarded to normal.

I tried to talk to my dad before he passed away in 2012 as i don't remember much stuff, and asked him if he thought i had autism. He always changed the subject and didn't want to talk about it.

Sometimes i'm still watching a movie and i notice myself on the sofa doing it (the body rocking back and forth), but i don't pay it attention. I consider myself normal. i work in IT, i have a degree in Journalism, i'm very smart. i just suck at maths and at having a social life: friends and women.

Is it possible that i have some sort of autism and don't know it?

This is a question for a medical professional.
No one on SoSuave is qualified to answer this.

Behavioral: inappropriate social interaction, poor eye contact, compulsive behavior, impulsivity, repetitive movements, self-harm, or persistent repetition of words or actions
Developmental: learning disability or speech delay in a child
Cognitive: intense interest in a limited number of things or problem paying attention
Psychological: unaware of others' emotions or depression
Also common: anxiety, change in voice, sensitivity to sound, or tic

If more than 50% of this sounds like you I'd say its very possible

I have asperger syndrome. Through my teenage years I was a textbook definition, but I’ve become normal enough that people can’t tell that have it. I do direct eye contact, but my eyes are naturally drawn to other facial features like the nose, eyebrows, or lips, so it’s something I have to remind myself to do at key moments. Finding the right rhythm of eye contact and looking away is a game that I have to play.

My game with the ladies has improved over time and have laid some girls through my own efforts of game, but I don’t have the personality to do large volume sarging. My best results of getting phone numbers have been cashiers or waitresses at small restaurants or cafes that I regularly visit; being a regular is key. I’m horrible with large groups of people but I’m good with one-on-one interactions, once there’s some comfort.

I’ve read the divorce rate for asperger syndrome is 80%, so it’s a very good idea for people such as myself to forget about marriage.

I am of the opinion that many things about psychology isn't exactly set in stone as opposed to the laws of physics (and sometimes even those have to be changed). My point being that change is possible. Neurology will tell you the brain is plastic, meaning it's extremely adaptable. I haven't studied psychology professionally, but I've read a great deal about it and this subject always seems fuzzy.

In any case I'd think it's better to believe change is possible, then at least there's a chance. If you don't believe change is possible and remain stuck at that belief you're guaranteed not to change.

I might have been eligible for some diagnosis, but I don't think I'd ever accept being told I can't do anything about it. It would probably just fuel me to prove them wrong.

If you currently have too many women chasing you, calling you, harassing you, knocking on your door at 2 o'clock in the morning... then I have the simple solution for you.

Just read my free ebook 22 Rules for Massive Success With Women and do the opposite of what I recommend.

This will quickly drive all women away from you.

And you will be able to relax and to live your life in peace and quiet.

Mate I reckon at least 50 of the guys here are on the spectrum somewhere. If you have Aspergers you're probably a little bit OCD. Make up some small routines for approaching girls and just work them. The lack of empathy can probably work for you as you won't be too worried about what they think about you. And you shouldn't care what some random girl thinks of you. I'd also suggest getting into sports and dance. I think being physically capable is part of a man self confidence. As a sports player myself I find people are lazy and they don't work the skills like they should. For example see you decide to join a soccer team. Every sport has basic individual player skills. 1 in soccer is what they call first touch. Basically trapping and controlling a ball that's come to you. You could practice that by throwing a ball against the wall. Then at some cones and you can practice moving quickly off the first touch.

BTW I worked on the kid of my ex who was a little aspy from being a pudgy greaseball on the couch who used to go out on excursions with all the other special kids. By the time we were history he could play chess, had basic martial arts training and played on a basketball and soccer team. And he had a couple of friends. So if the kid can make that progress in 18 months you could make an amazing Improvement in 6.

Yes you can,
I some times consider myself high functional Asperger. and I can tell you most hard cases here are on the borders of aspenger or autism, they keep reading but never get improved.
How to be DJ?
I did what Mystery (the PUA) did to improve himself as many people say he was a former nerd .
You have to socialize, socialize, socialize until your social brain get activated and become socially confidant.
And because many aspies lack masculine traits not because they are cowards but because they lack social awareness, you do need to reclaim your manliness by getting out of comfort zone. talk loader, try to be more dominant. and again socialize otherwise you will loose your confidant among others and become omega male as you are perceived now by others.

I would say 60% of the people here since we prefer online random people to réal life individual to talk about our issues and self improvement.

You know What's great about your post? You acknowledge it... so you done 50% of the work to solve it.

Al is about conditioning... keep interacting, keep learning what has to be "normal" in interactions... learn it, apply it..m remember all communications is 80% the other persons and 20% you.... but its always making the other person feel better about himself...(for autism and asperger... we dont know how to please others), so read on the subject and apply it.... no one will ever think you have something.

Read bigneil stuff, I think he's functionning one with clear Strait. And do the reverse.

Learn what is normal interaction, apply them, keep doing what you love.. people with autism or asperger are actually genius in certain domains.

But keep interacting with people al the time and ask for help... they will help you
