Can anyone attest to this texting method?

There's a new guy at work and we got to chatting about women/dating

He brought up an unusual way of texting them.

He says he just swears and talks down to them totally dismissing their messages and they secretly love it. That he always ends up banging them

Some examples is he'll say "f*ck you" "shut the f*ck up you dumb hoe" etc

He showed me one text thread where she says "how's your day" and he responded with "don't f*cking ask me stupid questions, my day is awesome" her response "gosh you're so pleasant. I'm free later tonight btw"

What's the deal with that? I'm usually aloof and acknowledge texts with one or two word answers

is this colleague of your very good looking? in that case whatever he would say, some women would have the hots for him.

My personal opinion is that there is no need to talk or text anybody anything demeaning like that. Sure, we may all think it, but it is not a DJ's style to be crass. There are more subtle ways of putting people down, but that requires a higher IQ.

I think you might be failing to pick up on a subtly here. Only saying saying stuff like "f*ck you" and "shut the f*ck up you dumb hoe" is terrible advise. But there's a fine line you can walk if 1) the girl knows it's your style and 2) you throw in hints here and there reminding her you're being silly. For example, when your friend said "don't f*cking ask me stupid questions, my day is awesome" the last part "my day is awesome" is the hint and it comes across as silly instead of serious. If you do this enough and she finds it funny, I'm sure you could work your way up to flat out saying "f*ck you hoe" regularly as a response. It would become an inside thing between the two of you.

It's kind of clever in that if she goes along with it, you're sort of exuding dominance by pretending to be an *******. But for it to work it I'd imagine you'd genuinely need to act that way (kind of stupid imo), and do it right from the start.

If they raise hell after getting the "stfu dumb hoe" text, just say, "damn sorry, meant to send that to my mom, not you." When they come back with "are you serious?" -then- "You couldn't possibly be that naive, no more jokey texts for you, sparky."

To the topic, no, have never done that kind of texting.

I sort-of kinda do that. Maybe not to the extreme . I agree with Yewki, implementing a style early-on can lead to this type of thing. I often times send: "Wyd?" and then when they reply, reply with "Wtf? who the **** asked you what your doing? " Its a funny way to subliminally display dominance. Me and my buddy are currently in a bet to see how many women we can call "*****" and they're completely fine with it. I'm up to two. ex: Me: Hi *****

The dude in qustion has it right. Texting is a right royal pain in the arse, and I think the way he shows contempt for it in his text replies that STILL get's interest from the women he texts back says it all about how most women don't want a herbert who "says all the right things".
What it says to these chicks is this: I am going to say whatever the fuk I like to you in reply to these texts, and I don't give a fuk if you like it or not".
Women love a man that doesn't give a fuk.

That said, there will probably come a day when he calls them a dumb hoe and all of sudden they will take offense to it and get p!ssed at him about it. That sort of thing gets tiring after awhile and they will likely get fed up with it.

It's good for the short term type of thing most guys around here are looking for. If you have the sort of personality that lets you get away with this sort of thing, it shows that you are not serious or pedestalizing them.

Then of course there are the type of women who actually are looking to be abused (on a psychological level, not just in the bedroom).

There is some truth in what you say. Sort of a 'jocular jerko' that the girls can't really get angry at for some reason.
But, if they did end up taking offense -- so? As in, who cares.

I had a chance to hang out with this guy outside work in a social context and his texting style makes more sense now.

He's a big joker to everyone in a condescending way but really kicks it up a notch with women. He acts like a playful assh*le.

A little too much energy and borderline obnoxious honestly but the women seem to respond well to it.

That kind of texting requires a heavy rapport beforehand. No stranger woman would respond positively to that.
