Haha, no one here is a lesbian or a professional lesbian expert, so I dunno how great the answers will be here. I actually have no idea so I won't even try I've only known bisexual women (which I believe everyone is to some degree), but the psychology of a full blown lesbian escapes me.

Pook doesn't talk about seduction per se, he talks about self-improvement, while keeping a focus around women.

One of my only girl friends from HS was a lesbian. I saw her countless times turn straight girls into lesbos, even if it was only for a night. Woman are highly impressionable, and she pretty much (as far as I'm concerned) was a dude. Had the same exact mindset as me, and I think that's why we got a long so well. She wasn't the fat/dyke looking type either. She was actually pretty decent looking, and probably would had been even more if she decided to be more feminine. So yeah, I think some woman can be fooled with seduction techniques from either sex, but not all. To be honest, I think it's more or less her exploiting a curiosity/fantasy that a girl may have already had. She just took the seed that was already planted and gave it the proper habitable conditions/nurture to allow it to grow. The same can be done for men I suppose, but I think it's less likely. It's more socially acceptable for woman to "act" gay than men. But I'm not saying it's impossible.
