... to schedule a date; is there an advantage to this or not?

Before you answer, here's the background and the reasoning: she's working at a kindergarten and from what she said she's very energetic around the kids.
I am also energetic during the day, when/if I'm doing something.

So I was thinking that high energy equals better phone conversation and more predisposition to set up something for the next days (i.e.: go on a date).

On the other side, I wonder if this reeks of desperation. (Can't he wait? Is he obsessing over me? etc.)

You want to call a girl while she's at work to set up a date?

Uhh...naw man,you might not want to go that route.

I think all that stuff you said about it possibly looking desperate or whatever will override all that "high energiness" she may have because of the kids she works with. That, plus if she is standing in the middle of a sea of children who are all running, laughing, and playing around her,it's doubtful she'll have time to talk.

You don't want to just call her and immediately ask her out. You want to talk for a little bit, throw out some attract material, get a little comfort/rappaport going, then ask her out. You won't have time to do that if she's surrounded by 30 screaming kids.

It'd probably better to wait until she home relaxing to call and ask her out.
