c&f worked so damn well now what?

There is this hb that works in the same bldg as me, and I see on my way to work. Before I had like no intentions of getting with her. People go extremely outa their way to just pass by her desk. This chick gets so much damn attention, I was like screw it. I'd always just ignore her. Just recently she's been initiating convo with me. I'd do the c&f with not too much 'f', giver her a hard time,etc.and not be too excited, cause I wasnt. I still wasnt interested in this chick. It worked like a charm. She's happy to see me, asked one of my supervisors about me,etc. Now I'm not sure what to do. I was thinking of backing of the c&f and neg-ing, but I have a feeling once I do that Im just another guy again.

Even if you aren't into her, I'd still get her number. That shows that you are man enough to do it. I doubt all those other wussies that are into her have enough balls to do that alone. Balls are good by the way.

What can you do? Well, the simple answer is close her. Try to set something up outside work, and make a move on her (kiss on lips). You will know immediately if she has interest in you, rather than wasting your time.

C+F is a technique to be used lightly throughout a conversation, not every sentence has a ****y comment. That is overdoing it, and it's unsustainable - after a while it gets old and you can't develop proper rapport. If she loses interest just because you were playing "hard to get"/unobtainable - i.e. being ****y and showing no interest, then you can't win and she's a waste of time anyway (she just enjoys the "chase"/challenge).

If you carry on playing the game and looking for signals, you will get more invested in her and could start getting one-itis. If she really loves attention she could be an attention wh0re and then you can be sure she will string you along and you'll always be thinking there could be a chance. If that's the case you're better off not proceeding with her anyway. That is a headache you don't need and a great route to one-itis with an attention wh0re (one of the worst situations to be in!).

So make a move and find out.
