Business Idea - Please Critique

Okay,

We all know people are pretty patriotic about countries and stuff. It's big business.

So I was thinking I could market a flammable American flag for people to burn. I thought about dipping it in gas would be a little too dangerous to mail to people, but sending it with a little gas can and some matches would definitely work. There would be a huge market in the middle east. Well, there would be a huge market in every country except the United States.

What do you think? Would it work?

Fug the gas and matches, let the people get that themselves. Just make it out of highly flammable material and market it as a flag meant to be burnt. I'm not condoning flag burning, however it is a unique business idea.

If anything, you'd get alot of hits to your website from people talking about it on the radio, tv and word of mouth. In addition to advertising your primary product, you could advertise dating websites, etc and make some extra money. Just sayin...

As far as flags for burning go, it should be dirt cheap. Thats one. Two, your supplier has to eitehr not know what you are doing or dont care about what you are doing. Forget about middle east, or countries other than the US, you wont be able to sell them and make money. This should only be made for the US, otherwise its a loss.


Nah, I dont think this is a good business idea, as far as making money by selling flags goes. Other things might be profitable. Beware though, this country is not free if you are not going with the flow, and you will pay the price.

Let me retreive that. If your flag has a valid label that it is made in the USA by the US Citizens, then yes, it will be more valuable in the middle east. I am assuming here. So you might make money there. This has to be tested, and your marketing should be right on target.

Ok, I dont like to sound like a ****ing troll, but almost anything could become a successful business idea. And selling american flags to arabs might work well if done right. Thats me thinking, my thinking might not be the truth.

Isnt there a belessing or some ceremony that makes the flags more official, and thus a better experience for the flag burner? If not, come up with something, those arabs will buy it if its done right.

I don't hate America. I think America is great. If people are going to hate it, I might as well make some money from it. It's like the Che Guevara shirts. Che Guevara would be rolling around in his grave if he knew big corporations were selling shirts with his pic on it.

Yeah, but what would seperate me from any other flag maker? I think if I make it out of a highly flammable material or have a gas can, it's your own the go flag burn. Everytime someone's having a protest, they just go, pick up and bam, they're ready.

What advantages does it offer over this technique and how are you going to market these advantages?

Also, a good part of the flag burning expirence seems to be the emotion, and I imagine that the dosing with gasoline and lighting up are a good part of that. Is your prepackaged flag going to be able to mimic that?
