Bumble has really hit rock bottom now. Total Pay to Play.

I decided to fire it up again recently to see if anything else has change. Only gotten worse. A few years ago they used to give you more likes before you had to pay. You could however get a pretty good idea who swiped on you. While the photo was blurred out you would still make out the shape of their face and skin color and get a general idea and then narrow the age filters down and eventually swipe on them.

Now it just shows a big box and it's way too blurred and darked out. No way to make out the shape of the face and such.

Only way around it now is to pay up.

These sites are really getting desperate with pay to play. Match LLC demolished Tinder, and now even their flagship site match even more pay to play despite a dwindling pool of women.

Hence women too are ditching it unless they're ugly and full of baggage and desperat themselves.

How about go with less pay to play and make it more reasonable again to pay? Upping the prices and make it more pay to play is actually hurting them more.

You’ll always pull younger and hotter IRL. Perfecting your cold approach technique is the most important thing you can do. Dating apps should be used for volume only. The chances you find anything meaningful off OLD (as in something more than a plate) is minimal. But the apps do have their uses.

Accept them for what they are. I would never pay any $$ whatsoever for any dating site. Period.

By paying for unlimited swipes, men outside the top tier can do enough volume of swiping to get some matches with a low match percentage. It's a volume game that often requires a big metropolitan area population.

The apps are only worth playing if you are a top tier male (a Chad).

What explains the quality on OLD too? It just keeps getting worse. TBH what I see on Bumbler, FB dating, Tinder, etc. it isn't worth paying for. Match is expensive, was worth paying for before 2022 though. a decent amount of hot women too and more talkative. Now it's mostly ugly ones. Same with the other OLD apps. Not many hot women use them anymore.

Upward is another app. Back when it was Originally UTC before becoming Upward when Match bought them it too was better. hardly pay to play easier to use and match. Match LLC has ruined OLD. They buy up all the sites and destroy them. They did it to Tinder too. OKC was easy to use. Match LLC bought them and basically dismantled it. Now POF is pay lol.

Yea. Was good the first year or so. Now it's the usual single mom crap. It works best when you use it for a bit and them delete it and make a new one a week later. See fresh faces.

I saw a few years ago they tried making a conservative dating site. It never worked. Not many women joined. What's up with that?

I can say I have never paid for anything for OLD and it has generated sex for me. Now, this is most definitely a lower quality woman than IRL approaching yields. But you don’t need to be paying for the swipe apps to get something out of them. I also don’t ever hop on there thinking I’m going to find a possible LTR. It’s essentially just for finding a plate.

In the past, before I exited swipe apps, I had a misguided notion that I could find a possible LTR from a swipe app.

You did well from having a mindset that swipe apps were for plates only.
