hi everybody, in the last month i started to eat more, in order to get to 70 kgs (155 lbs) before june. i started at 60 kgs (133 lbs) and now i'm 64 kgs (141 lbs). i don't attend a gym, but i've got a bench and lots of weights, 2 barbells and some dumbells at home. my program is this:

sunday: chest
monday: legs
tuesday: rest
wednesday: biceps and triceps
thursday: free weights (usually calf raises or pushups, something restful)
friday: shoulders and back



i missed almost every workout in the last 2 weeks, since i have to train in my backyard and it was always snowing or too freezing. today i'm going to work out again.

do you think that this is a nice work out? could it give me some improvements in the long term (i mean, before june?).

another question: i've informed my father (he works out with me) and my girlfriend about my goal and they say that at 70 kgs, i would look bad, since i'm only 5'9. do you guys think that 70kgs would be too much? consider that my main goals are to look good and to get better in sports

man i'm 5*9" 71kg and it is a JOKE i wanna be atleast 75-80kg which is ATHLETIC......90kg++ would be huge....every thing under 75kg i consider as skinny. it would help if you write down your exact exercises to critic your routine.

i don't know anybody who weighs more than 75kgs at my height... maybe it's that american standards are larger than europeans (dunno if u r american and if this is true, just supposing). anyway, maybe u r right. other opinions?

im 6'1". im 155 lb. I'm a skinny ****. I want to be 200 lb. Just get big, its a lot harder than you think.

okay im about 78kg im 6'2 or 6'3 anyone know any bulk up suppliments tell me cos my mama keeps telling me to bulk up. she's scared i wouldnt be able to defend my self when trouble comes. lol. i better hit the gyms this starting next week for summer my aim should be to get to 180 to 190 lbl.
 

It doesn't matter how good-looking you are, how romantic you are, how funny you are... or anything else. If she doesn't have something INVESTED in you and the relationship, preferably quite a LOT invested, she'll dump you, without even the slightest hesitation, as soon as someone a little more "interesting" comes along.

what a great mum you have. some people are really blessed. mine forbid me to do martial arts as a child/teenager and was also against it as i started bulking up...

jay-x, it doesn't matter where i come from or what my views on bulking up are, only thing that matters is what YOU want. your father and gf are probably insecure and that is the reason why they tell you NOT to bulk up. but if you ask on this forum or on a real bodybuilding forum people will think you're joking if you say 70kg is too big, because they think it is skinny and so do i.

skinny? 70Kg is on the heavier side, but its about normal. you wont look bad at all

That's most likely because you carry much fat. If you're ripped at 70 kg you look really good.

Skinny guys never think they are anything other than skinny.


SKEELOO: Whey protein, creatine, multivitamine and flax seeds is the way to go.

in my school, there's this guy, whose body is considered the coolest of the school, he's 5'10-5'11, and he weighs 75kgs... though, that guy doesn't look lean, but muscular to everybody (when he doesn't wear a shirt, everybody thinks he's 25-yr-old). i think that 90kgs as double says it's faaaaaaaar really way too much, for somebody who's less than 6 feet.
 

You essentially upped your VALUE in her eyes by showing her that, if she wants you, she has to at times do things that you like to do. You are SOMETHING after all. You are NOT FREE. If she wants to hang with you, it's going to cost her something — time, effort, money.

haha... sorry mate. =) But people carry much more fat than you can believe.

I consider myself skinny as hell. It's the skinny guy desiese, but also the thing that makes us so damn motivated.

Jay-X, 75 Kg is my empty weight in the morning. I'm 5'10" or 5'8", how can anyone think that is musclar? You need to get to 85-90 to look big.

i'm as tall as you, i weigh 10kgs less than you and nowadays nobody refers to me as skinny any longer... when i wear a tank top during ph.ed. classes at my new school, i've had people askin' me how often i hit the gym, since i was the most muscular in the entire class... surely, being extremely ripped helps me, but you guys can't say that 70kgs is light...

true, but i thought that desease would cure itsself after some time to develop a new self image :/...i wanna go for 1,75m 80kg 12%.....then i wanted to start boxing or martial arts(of course continue lifting)......mhhh i hope i will be satisfied if i reach that :/

you're 5'10 cauz i'm 5'09 and you are taller than me

jay-x, nobody but myself and other bodybuilders think i am skinny, normal people really seem to think i have a good body :rolleyes: but i dont compare myself to skinny guys or fatasses i compare myself to guys that i think are cool like tyrese from 2fast2furious, and he is a bit more built than me..

How many months did you *spend* going from 60kg to 64kg?

1 month, however my weight tends to fluctuate a lot, so i weigh myself before going to bed. while a month ago, my weight was between 57 and 61, usually 60, now it's between 62 and 64, usually 63.6

Jay-X, best time to weigh yourself is first thing in the morning.
