1. I'm in a wierd condition now. I used to weight around 150 (5 8') barely any body fat and then i got sick for little less than a week and lost 5 lbs. When I resumed lifting last week I see noticable gains in the volume of my muscles and gains in strength and but I lost another 5 lbs. Moreover, I have been eating like a horse 5-6 big meals a day and only doing cardio twice a week (definately eating MUCH more than burning). Any ideas why it happens?

I mostly want to gain more strength and speed but muscle mass is a nice by product.

2. I dont drink protein shakes but I started eating raw eggs. Is mixing one with oatmeal a good idea? cause my body didnt like it very much.

3. I'm training for track, is it better to do cardio before lifting or after?? or perhaps one in the morning and the other in the evening?

4. Is muscle mass proportional to strength? how come people who weigh less and have less muscles can be stronger?

Thanks in advance,
Dmand

Give us some more information. What's an average breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks for you? Maybe you're taking in less fat or burning excess fat...it happens. If you are noticing increased strength in your lifts, it sounds like you're doing well

When I was doing track and field in high school, I was a sprinter, and I did hardly any strength training during the season and basically did entirely high intensity cardio. That's just how my coach did things

that 5 lbs you lost the first time was water, and maybe the 2nd 5 was too. you say you have gains in muscle volume & strength, what are you complaining about?

if you're training for track, you shouldn't be focused on adding size anyway, right?

raw eggs take getting used to. mix w/ whatever helps you down em

lots of guys swear by morning cardio & lifting later, but the most important thing is to find times that work for you.

strength is partly mass but a whole lot CNS (central nervous system). it's possible to gain strength while neither gaining or losing mass. but you probably haven't lost any mass. step away from the scale, pay attention to how much you can lift & occasionally how you look in the mirror.
