remember carbs doesnt equal granola bars. Mixed vegetables, sweet potatoes, green leafy vegetables (like spinach) are good sources of carbs and a lot of people dont see them as carbs (maybe the sweet potato). I like my brown rice or sweet potato around lunch time with my meal and for later meals I go with green leafy vegetables, mixed vegetables, string beans, broccoli etc instead of the stuff like rice, pasta, bread or potatoes.
