Bulking: ? about carbs

Should I decrease my carbs on my off days or keep the same carb intake for the duration of my bulk?

Any additional info about carbs or bulking diets would be appreciated.

Depends on you. If you're good with insulin (read: skinny) then keep them high on offdays. If you're prone to getting fat then pile up carbs around your workouts and maybe each day for breakfast and get the rest of your calories from fat.

I can't tell you how to bulk because I don't know anything about you. If you're skinny get your protein in and then just EAT. Throw in fast food as well, especially in the post-workout window. If you're fat or tend to be on the fatter side or gain fat easily then make your food intake fairly clean, more fats than carbs, low GI carbs where you do have them, etc. Give us some more info for a more specific answer.

remember carbs doesnt equal granola bars. Mixed vegetables, sweet potatoes, green leafy vegetables (like spinach) are good sources of carbs and a lot of people dont see them as carbs (maybe the sweet potato). I like my brown rice or sweet potato around lunch time with my meal and for later meals I go with green leafy vegetables, mixed vegetables, string beans, broccoli etc instead of the stuff like rice, pasta, bread or potatoes. Im in probably the best shape of my life but come from a large (read that as Fat) family so I really have to watch what I eat or else I will blow up. Not only what I eat but when I eat certain foods. soemthing to take into consideration. A slight decrease is probably in order on off/recovery days since your activity will be reduced.

You can lower them abit if you're more suspectible to fat gain, but you can also eat lower cals (200-300 less).
