Hello DJ's I stumbled upon your site a couple of months ago, but only decided to make an account now. Anyway for my question.

I broke up with my GF this afternoon and decide to initiate no contact. She seems to be not getting it. See when we fight she usually takes a walk and text me and we resolve it. However, this time when we fought I told her it was over. And since 2:00 pm I received 2 calls and 6 text messages. I only texted her once when I missed the 2nd call. And I wrote something along these lines; "Sorry, I was busy? Whatsup? Did you find my key card?"

So what? Should I reinitiate just to make it clear that its over? Meet up or whatever?

[reading after this point is optional]

See, her thing is she keeps on giving her number to other guys and not even mentioning she has a boyfriend, it happened 3 times now (I know shame on me) so now its time to drop it. In this case the dude asked her for the number she said yes in the beginning then when he said this AFC line "this is really embarassing but you are very beautiful.....blah blah blah....can I have your number?" thats when they got to talking and she did give her number, and one night we were walking she was trying to make me jealous (or is she?) he called her for a date and she said yes to the date with him (might I add "I would love to!") And I was right there beside her! I asked her that night and said it was nothing (we were both kinda drunk, her more than me). However, I insisted the next day (today) The worst part is she told me about it! Which implies her complete lack of respect. Even worse, she told me about it just because the dude cancelled on her.

She really thinks I am breaking up with her because it was "nothing" that she just want to be friends with him. But come on now, guys. If I was to do the same what do you think will happen?

I am really tempted to text her; "Yep its totally over. Bye"

Here is the transcript of the texts

Me: Was busy. Missed call. Whatsup? Found my key card?

Her: I pick nature (nvm, it was a question I asked her earlier before the crap hitted the fan)

Her (after 30 seconds): What about you? Do u pick the same???

Her (after 5 minutes): Can I have your usb btw (I have movies on my USB we were supposed to watch before it all went down)

Her (half hour later): So that was it?

Her (two hours later): U nvr wear the bracelet I gave u

Her (an hour later): Go to Carol!

Carol = a girl that ljbf me, but now that I am taken Carol wants to be something else. In any case I dont want it anymore. And she is crazy jealous of Carol...see Carol is a 9 and this one is maybe a 6 or 7.

Carol once posted on my wall and I got in trouble.

In any case, see what I mean? Its like I didnt even do anything or initiated anything with Carol (she posted on my wall by her own free will) and somehow, its my fault.

Just tell her flat out to stop contacting you, and leave it at that. Anything afterwards should be deleted immediately.
That was brought up in the original no contact thread, and wouldn't doing that defeat the purpose of no contact?

Just got a text from her again:

Her: Hey

why you trolling? call verizon tmobile att or sprint and tell them to block her number. in matter fact you can do it online. go to your wireless carrier website log in with your acct and block her number from calling and texting you.

So basically, just don't respond anymore? I am seriously not gonna take the time to wait through customer service. I can just ignore her. So yeah, judgement is drop her right?

nothing spikes her interest quite like refusing to have anything to do with her
It's weird...we may never understand, anyway, should I also delete her off of Facebook? I don't want to seem too unavailable nor too spiteful or bitter. She still have me tagged as her boyfriend.

Also, do I text her to stop contacting me? Or do I text closure? "yep, it was over as I said, no hard feelings I hope, you can now have your options open without pretending you don't have a bf...best wishes"

Or "yep it's over. Bye." OR anymore suggestions?

I want to! By God I do! However that will prove my ex right. Hhhmmmm I'm considering it though lol

what do you care what your ex thinks, you made her your ex for a reason right. Only be worried about what you think about yourself!!

I don't like ignoring people. It is childish, unless it is used as a last resort. If a girl is stalking you, yes, by all means you should ignore her. In this case you only just broke up. Just tell her it is over again. Don't say anything else, but don't ignore her just yet. This is not for her by the way, this is for you. If in two days time she keeps texting you, then ignore her.

Thank you all for the help guys, but this morning I spoke with my buddies and they told me that I was too quick on the trigger.

What do you guys think? I think I did the right thing, I dont wanna be in a relationship where the other person is not as committed as I am.
