quick tip forum...
what's the one thing we can't live without in life?? the one thing which if it were to stop for more than 2 minutes, you would basically end up with a brain disorder or possible death?

breathing!!..
the quality of your life reflects the quality of your breathing.
if you suffer from an anxiety disorder or depression, I can pretty much guarantee that you are not breathing correctly, you are not using the capacity of your lungs to create a deep rythmic inflow of air into your system.

I have improved the rythm of my breathing and I have completely reprogramed the way i breathe, and the changes have been AMAZING, expectacular!!

I noticed i dont breath deeply, heck, i wasnt breathing at all!!, no wonder I had low energy, no wonder my voice was so low, no wonder I wasnt feeling vibrant and full of life.

well I did this exercise, CONSCIOUSLY took control of my breathing pattern 24/7 for a whole week, I increased significantly the amount of air i take on each inhalation and exhalation. consciously!!!

the results
- more energy, more self confidence, my voice is 10 times more powerful and deep now, i can focus, concentrate, and my ability to calm my mind has increased..... full of energy and aliveness

would this help when it comes to the dating world and meeting women? maybe?

I wanna challenge EVERYONE here to prove me wrong, I just want you to try this exercises for 2 days only, and come back and tell me if you notice anything different at all in your self....

Prove me wrong!

you will be happy you tried this one!

yes I focus on every single breath I take, and I do it consciously, I take one deeper inhalation of breath than i would normally do... like 2 or three times the amount you regularly breath.... you dont have to go crazy, and use your whole lung capacity

although now I use it, and it feels better and better and better... so much power, I had so much energy by the 5th day, that I could not make myself go to sleep all night, I was wide awake.

you let amounts of air inside, your brain and blood system gets more oxygen, its more fuel for your cells inbody and neurons in brain.

it really helps. this is scientifically proved by the way, not something I just made up.

just try it, if it helps keep doing it, if it doesnt, then stop
it works for me

Definitely something I'm going to try.

I will randomly notice that I'm somewhat out of breathe. Not because I'm overweight, or doing anything physical. Just because I was barely breathing. It's kinda odd. Even started to worry me a bit.

At the gym is really the only time I focus on my breathing. Going to give this a shot. Thanks pipe.

KK, please don't forget to report back here your results, I wanna hear other people's experiences on this because i'm working on a system of self improvement, and this is part of it
thanks :)

by the way, if this helps, I would recommend making permanent changes in the way you breathe, it might take around 2 or 3 weeks of conscious breathing before it develops into a habit... a life changing habit for me!

Interesting, in traditional Goju-ryu karate we do many breathing exercises that train the belly breathing. Maybe it actually is good for you.

I have been trying to do this, I just keep forgetting about it. I don't mean breathing in general, but you get what I mean. Jury still out on this one...

wow

man, thanks for posting this. I just focus on my breathing when I am working out at the gym and running. But after reading this, I tried it right away, and damn it was much more difficult than I have anticipated! I just realized that we do forget to breathe! Thanks for the tips and will try this to make it a really good habit.

ah, and I completely do nose-breathing, not mouth. So much that I realize how heavy breathing was....

Well, if you breath heavy and incorrectly you can actually damage your internal organs. Also too much oxygen can lead to hypersomething...to calm down it is good to breath to and from a paper bag...more CO2 to calm you down and make your blood more alcalic again.

Other than that you are right. Correct breathing is very important. Guys should breathe with their belly. Good method is to imagine you are pouring air into your lungs...don't force it. The same when exhaling. Also imagine silver(don't ask) string pulling in your spine when you breathe.

I found Ninjutsu breathing methods of meditation are quite good....and cool as shyt being Ninja:rockon:

I don't usually get nervous any more when meeting up for a first date, but if I do, I just do the breathing exercise and I'm totally un-nervous by the time I greet her.
