Looking for a fun and easy opener for your next bar outing?

All you have to do is bring along your Bon Jovi microphone.

You know, it's that invisible prop that appears from out of nowhere whenever a good singalong song comes on. And it doesn't have to be Bon Jovi's "Living in a Prayer" (although this is one of the best).

It could be any ubiquitous classic or even a newer tune that everyone knows the chorous to. Doesn't really matter. All that matters is that you pull out your mike, put your arm around a good looking woman, sing the first few bars, then let her finish. Before the song is over you'll be singing a duet and have a new friend.

Could there be a more risk-free opener? I don't think the most stuck up b!tch in the world that would snub you when you have your Bon Jovi mike in your hand.

Top Gun ripoff (Tom Cruise does that to Kelly McGuire in the pilot lounge scene... Every friggin' pilot joins in.)
It's cool, especially if you are a decent singer.

Ah yes, forgot about that scene. And "You give love a bad name" is actually the song I was thinking of. You don't have to be a good singer in a loud bar or club.

Lion- it's kinda like an air guitar.

Point is to make contact with the female and show you're having a good time. Then you're money.

It does matter

Even if its a loud place, the person really near to you will hear your voice well enough to tell how well you sing.

This, combined by the fact that you dont hear your voice at all, can yield bad results :)

So, if you want to sign, learn how to do it first

That Top gun bit.

I'm in the airforce and guys actually do that. I have never , ever seen it fail.

Strange but true.
