At this point in my life I have very little tolerance for bullcrap and Im quick to next a girl.

Ive been hanging out with this girl the past couple weeks (and having sex). She's got a good job, is laid back, really chill...never a hint of drama before. Tonight we are texting, having normal chit chat about the day and seemingly randomly she says something like..

"Hey...in a really bad mood...dont feel like talking...Im sorry...talk tomorrow. Maybe we can hang after work later this week?"

My response was "Um...kk..ttyl"

I didnt feel like bothering to ask her what her deal was cus that seemed like a fvking bratty ass text...and like she's possibly a girl who starts drama. Either that or something else annoying seems on the horizon...and my instinct right now is to just next this girl immediately and not engage her in conversation unless he speaks first and explains that crap.

Thoughts? My gut just says to bail because this seems like a sign of impending bullsh!t. Just kinda double checking Im not overreacting.

Or maybe she was just having a bad day.

Not every odd act is a sign of great disrespect, red flags or impending doom.

JMHO....

True, you might be right. But I dunno...the gut says the chick was acting out and looking for a response. It was pretty different from how she normally speaks and behaves.

Because it was different I just think she was having a bad day... We all do sometimes.

She apologized, she said she was going to get back to you and wanted to hang....

I guess you will find out.

"Hey...in a really bad mood...dont feel like talking...Im sorry...talk tomorrow. Maybe we can hang after work last this week?"
That's not a bratty text. She did you a favour by cancelling thus avoiding being a pain in your ass. Your response was fine. Take her up on her counter-offer.

Trust me, I check a lot of girls and drop a lot of girls for a variety of reasons but this is not one. She told you she was in a bad mood and didn't want to take it out on you. Nothing wrong with that. Keep hanging with her and smashing her. There was no disrespect in what she said. It was her just being honest.

Wow.... Maybe next time you could find out why she is in a bad mood IMHO.
I dont think anyone would think you were a ***** if you asked, "are you ok?" or "is everything alright?" or "I hope things are better for you soon" YMMV.

Trust your gut... you know her better than any of us. If your gut tells you to bail... then walk away... just tell her to reach out to you when she's in a better mood, if she drifts off then go find other women.

Right, because not every day is filled with Happy Gilmore riding the Hobby Horse as he showers grandma with money and Chubb wrestling the alligator that bit off his hand and chicks that strip on demand.

Imagine----a chick you've known for a whole two weeks had something happen that she might not want to discuss with you...maybe a family related issue, etc. The NERVE of her!!!

Talk about a massive overreaction and very immature mindset. Grow up. Not everything revolves around you.

Common sense says it's no big deal.

Why are you texting her? She counter-offered to hang out with you. Set the date and leave her alone.

My response was "Um...kk..ttyl"

Why are you engaging her in conversation on the phone? You should have no other reason to talk to her other than asking her out on a date. She's willing to make a date with you based on her counter offer. The only problem in this scenario is you, pal. Stop texting her. You will text this woman right out of your life.

Since you sent the last text, wait for her to reach out and make another date. Hopefully you didn't blow this and she hits you up within a week.

Whether you have been have sex for two weeks or two years, texting should only be used for setting a date and time to get together. If you use texting for anything else, you will be left vulnerable and angry when there is; no response, not the response you like, not a quick enough response, etc. Stay away from texting other than making appointments. Interaction with a girl has to be FACE to FACE.

Holy cow bro. That's a bratty text? What if she got a bad grade? What if her sister died? What if her pet died? What if she didn't get the job? It's like screw woman as human beings. We need them as sex slaves.

Your response is "Possibly. Feel better soon." You guys get your head spun from a simple text. Wait to you get out in the real world. People will absolutely destroy you while they are eating chocolate cake.
