Boyfriend?

My friends and I were in this bar on thursday. THis place serves food. The waitress is a total hotty and i bet my friend that i will bang her by the end of the semester. IN either case, i decide to get the show on so i start hitting on her. The only condition of the bet is that its off if she has a boyfriend. So i start pulling my game on this chick and its going well, then seh boyfriend derails me. So i just look calm as anything in her eyes smile, and go 'You should cheat on him', she starts out laughing and then goes, well it is a long distance relationship =). IN either case. Im convinced ill get her in bed, the point of this thread thing is to all the people that look at a girl saying the word boyfriend as some kind of a locked door. Just ignore that **** or use it for C & F.

Heck, even my mom once told me, when I didn't try to connect with a girl because she had a BF, that "that doesn't mean anything".

Also, if you find that she has a BF from a third party but she never tells YOU (or only casually -- and rarely -- refers to the BF as "my friend X") then she may be using the chump BF as a shield to keep off guys she doesn't want. Think of It's a Wonderful Life. I have a very similar situation going on here (except that I don't know the chump BF).

A second girl I know who mentioned having a BF a while back still kept giving me buying signals so I got her number. The only problem with her is that she's seldom home at the hours at which I tend to call (I generally don't leave messages).

The ONLY time I back off is when she says she has a boyfriend when I ask for her number OR when I call and ask her out (some girls will give you their number then bring up having a BF or being engaged when you call them ... rather annoying, it's happened to me four times in the past year!).
