Boyfriend Shield. (field report)

I don't know about you guys, but a lot of the time when I'm at the clubs I get this old line...

"Oh my boyfriend gets really jealous so I can't do that"

Well tonight, I overcame this.. I was feeling a bit more ****y than usual and gave her this old line (read it somewhere on this board).

"Well listen, I have a boyfriend too.. And he tells me "Hey Alex, if you go out and meet someone who is pretty cool.. Then you should definitely hangout with them"

So the girl wound up asking me for MY number and gave me hers. Who knows if it's fake.. Don't really care. I just went the extra mile for the number close without being a desperate chump.

I'm feeling kinda BS'd though, cause I was kickin it to her friend who I got to come out tonight, and she started CRYING when I started hitting on her friend. Could've probably fvcked that girl's brains out tonight, but I was being an idiot and started hitting on her friend right in front of her. Oh well, I'm sure I'll get a go at her sometime in the future..

Just to be straightforward here.. I'm a very witty person to begin with and don't rely much on canned PUA phrasing. But I really liked this line. Use it to your advantage in this situation to overcome.

KNow what I find strange? When I go out, and talk to women, I rarely ever have them tell me they have boyfriends? UNless they are obviously with them at the time, strange. And this is several approaches and lays in the l;ast year

IDK man -- if you're out with HER and you hit on HER FRIEND to get a number, that would definitely be a hit to the heart. Seriously dude, I'd say flirting with her a friends to get them to like you and root for you is one thing, but getting her number is going too far and disrespecting the woman you are there with. Should have focused more on her and less on the girl with the boyfriend. Boyfriend battles are uphill and at most you'll get laid but you're putting some bad mojo out there. Go with the single chicks who are into you.

Thanks for the constructive criticism Buddha Mind. Yeah I was kind of tipsy at the time too and made a stupid decision there. I wasn't out with the girl, I just ran into her and a couple of her friends in my city so we got some drinks together.
