is it good if i just practice 3 days a week? also how can i keep gaining weight? the problem is that i get tired of eating and then i dont want to eat no more because im full

i eat like 5 times a day and i would eat more but i always get to full and dont want to eat no more

ps. i only eat to satisfied but i still get so full

i want to continue with boxing because i know one day is going to save my life, but i want to continue bulking because im starting to look good

Im in the same situation as you are. I started brazillian jujitsu last friday and im doing it 3x a week. All I can think if is eating even more and taking more protien/meal replacement shakes.

Here's a tip for the eating. Eat untill you feel full, then stop, don't force it. That will give you more time to digest your food so you'll have time for another meal

Don't eat much, eat often.

Im just gonna say that at 22% bf you should be cutting. I think a general rule should be cut till at least 15% bf bulk up till 15%bf. That being said the boxing should melt fat off you and get you more fit overall.

Weightlifting and sports/martial arts typically don't go well together if you care for your performance.

Also the time of day you would be boxing plays a factor.

If you want to go often and perform well sparring then you probably won't be lifting much, if any. And, it will probably be at night which means lifting would take place before the class, so your muscles would be maxed out.

I do kickboxing, on hiatus from my BJJ class until I can memorize more of the techniques, and stick to the compound lifts when I have time.

I imagine if you really dedicated yourself to boxing you would bulk while doing it. If you have other things in your life going on, causing you to miss some classes.. you might want to throw some compound lifts in there just to fill in the gaps.

Well I'm here to tell you there is such a magic wand. Something that will make you almost completely irresistible to any woman you "point it" at. Something guaranteed to fill your life with love, romance, and excitement.

Yep...good point. Mexican player, you need to cut your calories to 10 cals. per lb. bodyweight...I'm sure you'll likely be performing lots of cardio, so that should get your BF down to around 12-14 percent. Then start bulking.

But don't stop lifting either. Lifting will help you retain your muscle and help you lose fat, along with the cardio and diet.

You can easily do both, man, no worries.

But what is up with "Monday: Pecs"? That should be Chest and Triceps (benchpress incorporates shoulders too), Saturday Legs, Thursday Biceps and Back.

DON'T do specific shoulder exercises for a while yet, boxing is intensive on them if you're just starting especially, they'll look real good.

Boxing is the best sport in the world, and after 2 months you will be a forever changed person.

i have been in boxing for like 4 months

when i first started bulking (3 months ago) my bodyfat was 15% but my problem was that at first i ate 1000 more calories instead of just 500 and in this 3 months never done cardio

i dont do legs

i only do biceps and triceps and chest

and i have seen good results

i do bicep and triceps the same day because my trainer said so

should i do it on diferent days like MRS said??

and yeah boxing is the best sport in the world

What do you mean you don't do legs?
You look ****, and can't carry your weight well if you have chicken legs. And for the purpose of boxing, 38% of the power is from the legs. (30% from the core and the twist, 25% from the arm, something like that).

Triceps and biceps on the same day is bad, in my opinion.
Take bench press, for example. Great exercise, especially good for boxing. That works the TRICEPS, CHEST and to a lesser extent SHOULDERS. Do you prefer to do crappy exercises and not bench press, to try and isolate muscle groups like that?

Also, where's your back exercises? You will have problems in the future if you continue to ignore the BACK and LEGS, you seem to be drawn in too much by pictures of people and ****, which never show their legs and back.

Let me demonstrate:

Check out Tyson. One of the fiercest and most powerful boxers in history. Half, HALF, of his power came from his incredibly strong legs.

Can you imagine this beast with skinny legs achieving HALF of his skills? ME neither.

Now back, is THE most important group. If you have overdevloped chest, whatever, and don't train the back, you will have bad balance and put your back under unecessary strain. Which can lead to all SORTS of problems.

So, incorporate rows into your workout for the back, and squats for the legs.
Bench press for tri/chest. Also, as a boxer you should do dips and wide pullups, they're great exercises for the tris and shoulders/lats.

You can still bulk w/o working out your legs, but you'll eventually reach limits. Ever since I started taking squats seriously, my weight gain rate dramatically, I gained 4 pounds the week I started doing them.

I jujitsu is the best sport in the world.
What happens after two monthes of boxing???
