Hi everybody!
My girlfriend and I had sex without a condom a couple of times about the end of May. Actually, I just penetrated 4-5 times each and then pulled out far before ejaculating. Her period was supposed to start on June 7th but it didn't.
She's always been pretty irregular (exactly a year ago, she was 19 days late when her period finally came), so I wasn't too scared. Anyway, I had to study for an important exam, so I bought her a pregnancy test.

We used the first test in the afternoon, but I had her drink a lot of water before (I wanted her to take a big pìss, I didn't know that drinking may change the results) and it came out negative.

The next morning she tested the first pìss of the day and it came out negative again.

Anyway, today she's 13 days late. Is it possible that both tests were wrong?!?!

Yes, it's possible.

Go ahead try one or even two more (and don't have her drink so much). It's well worth the cost to be totally certain.

I'll get her another test next week, but my parents say that probably she's just late or she's missing her period and that I shouldn't worry about it.

She says that she'd abort, although I'm not sure I would agree with that.

Never try to read a woman's mind. It is a scary place. Ignore her confusing signals and mixed messages. Assume she is interested in you and act accordingly.

If she recently began taking birth control, that may affect her period. Other things like stress can affect her period.

Also, she should be pissing on the stick first thing in the morning for best results. Are you seeing the results with her, or are you taking her word for it?

Actually she stopped taking the pill a couple of months before her last period.
The first time I was with her (I was holding the stick:)) but she took it in the afternoon, plus after drinking lots of water.

The morning after, she was alone, but I can completely trust her (she's the one who'd abort, I'd make her keep the kid, so why should she lie to me? Plus she's not a lying person).

Also, my mother thinks that it's probably all due to climatic changes (heat came all of a sudden here) and the stress due to the end of school.

Actually, it would be pretty unlucky for her to get pregnant with a couple of unprotected penetrations and pulling out and after having 2 tests with negative results.

yes.
very early in a pregnancy when a period is late, you are suppose to take the pee test early in the morning , so the pee is more concentrated and stronger urine can help detect the hcg hormone( hcg only found in pregnant women or women that just gave birth or just had an abortion) early pregnancy some women have such a low hormone count that you can not even pick it up with urine and have to go to a dr or clinic and have blood taken.
every few days the hormone count grows and it is easier to test at home.

there can be false negative tests and really be pregnant due to this.
especially if it is early on and you are asking her to pee on it late in the day and after drinking tons of water. its dilluting what little hormone count there is, if there is one.

the only time it can be a false positive is when she has a hcg hormone left from just giving birth, miscarrying, or aborting a baby within a very short time frame. otherwise you will not get a false positive result.

lots of things can make a chick late, stress, weather, sickness, getting off the pill, the list goes on and on.

1. She took the second test more than 20 days after we had sex, so the HCG hormone would have already been high enough, am I wrong?! Plus she did it first thing in the morning without drinking any water.

2. She's not exhausted and she's never thrown up. She has experienced some nausea and some headaches but it's pretty normal for her, it happens pretty often. Her boobs and butt have not grown, but I think that those things start to grow a couple of months after insemination, don't they?
