Born with Skinny genetics!?!?

My dad and my older brother are all skinny, and I was born that way too

right now I am 6'0 at 145lbs, see picture below

I think it has to do with skinny generics, my father wasn't born to be a hulk back then, I've seen photos of him. He had defined body after he got into millitary, I wasn't sure how tall he was but I am sure he looks skinny with defined body - you know.. like has perfect abs, chest, etc. He told me that his dad was born with skinny generics too, so its likely I am born with it, so was my brother.

Now I know "eat more gain big" there are few problems
-> I don't have money to get the ammount of food that will need to last for more than a year
-> The food gets nasty a while (after eating for more than a week straight)
-> I just graduated from high school and now applying for full time job in hope I could start buying food
-> buying food is another problem, there's like a supermarket 10 minutes drive from my house but 30 minutes walk. I won't get my driver license until Feb. 2005.

What do I do? my goal is to be at least 190~240 for my height 6'0..

working out is no problem, there is a small community gym 30 seconds from my house, also with a hot tub and swimming pool :)

Thanks for any help

There's nothing we can do to help. You have to do it by yourself, get a job, get a bike so you can get to the supermarket, buy food, workout.

Your chest look ok, but you have to work on the arms and shoulders.

You're only 18. VERY few boys are fully matured at 18, and it seems that for Asians the maturation process takes longer. So don't put too much pressure on yourself to have a "perfect" body, and keep working out hard and eating well. You definitely need to find some money to subscribe to www.skinnyguy.net . I think it will help greatly because you look just like Anthony Ellis did when he was scrawny. Just follow what he did step by step, and you'll be good to go. Good luck.

Psh, you are just another skinny guy with a ragin fast metabolism. Welcome to the club.

Get weights, learn to use them correctly. I made a DRASTIC change in my appearance in only 3 months using weights. Just get a schedule, and stick to it.

Even if you train for a year without a diet you will make gains. I've lifted for 3yrs with no diet and managed to get to 140lbs from being under 100lbs at 16 (28" waist, arms 14", good chest, wide back, most people think I'm about 160lbs).

Now that I got a bit more money handy I've only now started on a diet, since satuarday. I have a realy good base now to work from. My goal is 160-168lbs in about 12 weeks time, and to get my arms to 15", forearms to 12".

He only did a typo....

At this point you probably have a woman (or multiple women) chasing you around, calling you all the time, wanting to be with you. So let's talk about how to KEEP a woman interested in you once you have her. This is BIG! There is nothing worse than getting dumped by a woman that you really, really like.

I'm very similar to you, same skinnyness and some toning like you. I've been going to the gym for 2 years now, haven't stuck to an exact lifting plan but I have got bigger. Just make sure you watch your diet extremely carefully, lift heavy, and get enough calories each day.

Be carefull not to do what I did this summer, have 6 weeks off the gym and lose about 6 months worth of muscle!. You've gotta keep up the food intake all the time otherwise people like us with fast metabolisms will soon have our bodies eat away at any new muscle its built and no longer uses.

who cares
well dont plan on becoming a bodybuilder....dont sweat it, technically speaking youre what doctors call an ectomorph....is just a term for a body type...you have low body fat, small bones, and little muscle mass and have a very high metabolism....is just the way you are, you can try to get big muscles, but that will very likely be very hard or unlikely....so stick to the way you are.

Everyone told me i'd never be big, so therefore it was pointless for me to lift. However, i ignored their opinions and ridiculous comments and continued working out. I think my current physique speaks for itself.

If you lack genetics, work harder and eventually the results you're seeking will come!

Ectomorphs just need a different approach to gaining muscle, but it isnt impossible.
