week 6

I haven't been going out too much lately because started dating a girl I met a few weeks ago. Nothing too serious, but things are going well.

I went out with some work friends last night, and opened a number of sets. It was the first time I approached a set and got closed out right away. I asked thier opinion on going to a theme party. One girl immeadiately said "what are you trying to get us to go with you" I said no, just wanted your opinion. She made another comment, so I leanded over to her two friends and said "is she always this rude? how do you put up with that?" her friends laughed and I walked away. I wasn't too interested, I was just trying to open for my wing.

Opened a 2 set for my wing. A guy and girl. When my wing came over I introduced and complimented him. I distracted the guy so he could lock in. He ended up number closing.

Opened a 6 set for my other wing. 4 girls, 2 guys. Spent some time chatting with the girl my wing wanted. He came over and I introduced him. He immediately put his arm around the girl and she pushed it off. I left the set.

My wing opened a 2 set, they were both 8's. My wing introduced me and paid me a compliment and they became interested in what I did. We chatted for a bit, but I had trouble locking in and bailed out.

It was a good night though. Got more practice opening and I'm starting to notice my game come together.

Anyone have any suggestions on how to lock in better.
