I find it very confusing to understand why some guys look weak, why some guys are the most valuable in the group etc. I feel like guys who had fathers would have some idea of these things.

I'm on track to developing my skills as a male among females, but the other side of the coin is being a male among males.

I'm reading the Rational Male by Rollo Tomasi and as I was reading it I thought about how awesome it would be if somebody detailed the practical psychology of how males socialise with each other.

Any book ideas?

My dad used to make my hair stand on end when he screamed.

When he would leave me with his mother it was a joke! At age 5 I was beyond her control, but my dad scared me until I was about 19. He's still with me thank God.

My mentor (a man 20 years my senior who I met in 1996 and changed my life in an instant - no homo) recommended a "reading list" featuring Carlos Castaneda "Journey to Ixtlan", "The Shining" and "Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance". Also, Pook's writings here are great. Doc Love, Robert Greene and Coach Corey Wayne also.

Nothing to Lose, Everything to Gain by Ryan Blair.

Good book about success and determination from a young guy with a deadbeat dad and a divorced mom who made it.

Having a father has nothing to do with UNDERSTANDING it. It's mostly about your overall social skills and understanding of social dynamics that will help you get it.

I would history, philosophy, poetry. You don't need to
read on how males "socialize" with each other. Human behaviour is unpredictable. Even if you've read every book out there on how humans interact with each other, some guy with more experience is going to make your head spin.

Go out there and get your own experience, and read some factual books. :)

Mm yes and no. If u looked up a generic response to a sh1t test and an AMOG that would stand u in good stead. And I do mean generic trying to memorize dozens of snappy lines will be useless.

My standard line for s*** tests
is meh.. with a slight shoulder shrug and a Smirk. And then change the topic so you don't get in a ping ping exchange.

I ve never been that great dealing with AMOGs so I'll let the guys kick in with a couple of generic tactics.

even if it doesn't look smooth any fightback well at least prove you are not a pvssy

And of course even the simplest tricks won't mean squat without getting out there.

To stray away from the DJ focused books. I'm gonna say that 2 that influenced me the most have to be be The Prince & The Art of War.

Both are quite short, and have conceived thousands of "business" & "power" books, that all stem from the original ideologies of these 2.
