Just trim it man, no big deal, girls will appreciate it

You can get pretty much the same results from trimming with an electric buzzer as you would with a razor

Lol dude I used an electric razor to shave my chest hair...no way it's as clean as with a real razor but it still is clean and neat looking.

Shaving body hair is an INSTANT way to look leaner. I always shave everything before shows/stagettes... Of course girls kind of except us to look a certain way though. Plus I'm a hairy dude. I look like a member of the taliban when I don't shave my face for a couple of weeks!

Well I'm here to tell you there is such a magic wand. Something that will make you almost completely irresistible to any woman you "point it" at. Something guaranteed to fill your life with love, romance, and excitement.

The only thing I shave is my face, and lately I have just been growing the beard. Depends on how hairy you are, and how much you care.

Some dudes are crazy hairy, so trimming might be appropriate.

Stomach hair makes you look fatter.

I was worried i'd somehow gotten fat because i got lazy for a while about taking care of the chest hair. I shaved it all off and i was like oh i'm still the same.

The first time i shaved it off, i had no idea how in shape i'd gotten. I was shocked. It was the first time i could really see the musculature of my pecs and such. My hair hides my abs too.

Women ***** either way. If you have facial stubble they say you look good, but then they ***** when they kiss you. Your shaved chest hair is "itchy" to them, but they still like the look.

You can't win so do what you want.

Anything about hair growing back faster or thicker is a myth. A hair follicle is a hair follicle, it grows at the same speed and rate no matter what. As far as if you shoyld shave. A lot of girls like a chest hair, bt if it's on your back or shoulders, get out the clippers.

You essentially upped your VALUE in her eyes by showing her that, if she wants you, she has to at times do things that you like to do. You are SOMETHING after all. You are NOT FREE. If she wants to hang with you, it's going to cost her something — time, effort, money.

Shaving body hair is too time-consuming. For me anyway. I've never had a date complain about hair although my ex often suggested I shave what she referred to as "that bush on your chest".

I always shave my chest, but that does cause my nipples to go hard for a few days. Anyone else have that issue? I am thinking it has something to do with the smoothness of the skin around the nipple area. I have been applying ample amounts of lotion over my chest before going out hoping that it would help with things. Still the same hard nipples though.

I urge you NOT to wax your chest. The pain is unbearable and the amount of in-growns and bleeding you get really kills any aesthetic effect. Just trim it down and it'll look fine.

Shaving your body will definetly improve your aesthetics, particularly if you are in shape. It maybe time consuming, it will most certainly give you a leg up on the competition.

Wish I could shave it; whenever I do I get a bunch of ingrowns when it grows back and it's really sharp. Sucks having really thick hair (and by thick I mean in terms of the hair follicle, not the density of hair on my chest; damn Persian roots haha).

I just opt with trimming. Girls seem to dig a bit of chest hair, anyways.

I pretty much shave everything with an electric trimmer.

Shaving makes you like quite a bit more defined/toned. It's a must for me being 1/2 Italian.

truth. As someone who is part italian, I have to deal with a good amount of chest hair. I just shaved my chest it today and its amazing how much leaner/muscular I look even though nothing really changed since yesterday!

Not looking forward to the ingrowns though. Probably just going to go with what everyone else suggested and use an electric shaver. Any suggestions so it doesn't look like a total hack job?
